WEEK 0 — MARCH 29, 30
Week 0
You have been threatened by the Sergeant: if nobody dies before March 31st at noon, you, along with everyone else, will forfeit your lives. The Sergeant pushed everyone away from the Lodge, judging that had been enough interaction with his guests. So what now?
Will you submit to the Sergeant’s demands? Will you resist him and wait to see what happens? He wouldn’t be capable of killing you and everyone else, right?
Only time will tell.
The next day you'll find a newspaper at the motel lounge, telling you about today’s weather forecast with 100% accuracy. Looks like you can expect to find a newspaper every day to find out the weather and any other news about the town. It even includes something branded 'THE SHARK ALERT'. Who could that be directed to?
There's also a copy of yesterday's newspaper. There's nothing about the Sergeant or about your predicament, but there is something about your arrival to the town.
Cartesio is your world for the next four days, better make the most out of your time here.
OOC Note: The current IC:OOC ratio for the days is as follows: The 29th top-level covers Monday and Tuesday, while the 30th top-level is for Wednesday and Thursday.

[She pauses, considering it for a minute.]
My job, I guess? That doesn't really sound right, but it's the best I've got.

[...THAT IS A SOLID POINT and she actually blushes a little.]
Oh! Wow, I didn't even think about that. I'm Millium. What's your name?

I'm Seiji Matoba. No need to be embarrassed; this meeting's been interesting. It sounds like your empire is at war - or at the very least, has many enemies.

Seiji! Okay. [She's going to go with that unless he corrects her.] Nice to meetcha.

Yup. Thirteen.

A child soldier, then.

["Intelligence Division" should probably imply she's some sort of spy. And yet she's just... blabbing all this like it's nothing. Does this child have an ounce of common sense...?

I dunno. Maybe.
[And that's honest, despite the flippant way she often talks.]
But I don't think I'm gonna change too much from the way I am now. Even if I did, I'd like to think they'd look out for me.

[ he didn't mean her fellow soldiers when he was asking earlier, but ah well. she's the hopeful sort, that much he can tell. no point in teasing her - if that could even be called teasing. ]

They're not. There's only two of us as little as me, so far as I know. Claire, Lechter, Gramps - they're all adults.
