Week 7: Investigation

The night comes and goes. Whether it's quiet is anyone's guess, but the sun rises as usual, though blocked partially by cloud.

The Sergeant's weekly endeavor destroy your reputation seems to have backfired. Another ghostly communication resulted in some emotional catharsis, for some of you. Perhaps there's the sense that things may be improving...

...But the threat to keep your loved ones here still hangs heavy in the air. It's not just your lives on the line, not anymore. That must be on everyone's minds. By sunset today, Cartesio's set to have a whole bunch of new residents, if the Sergeant has anything to say about it. On top of that, your deadline to receive a medal's almost up.

For that reason, despite the steps forward you've made this week, Friday's sunrise brings dread. What chances are there that all of you are still alive? Do you even want that, with the Sergeant's over your heads?

Whatever your feelings are, the town still beckons to you. Investigate, if you feel up to it.

[Well then, let's visit Mason!! Or she supposes she could look for "evidence" to catch the "murderer." How's it look in here]

[ First and foremost! Someone made a mess in here! There are large and extra large sized cold weather jackets, all strewn about the floor. ]

[pecker]

[What the heck. Are these jackets usually sold here?]

[cartesio]

[ Yep! There are still some on the racks, but most of them are on the floor now. ]

[pecker]

[Okay, just checking, but that sure is a thing... Let's try lifting them up a bit with her spading fork.]

[cartesio]

[ They come up easily. Sure are a bunch of coats! It doesn't look like they have anything wrong with them. ]

[pecker]

[That's good, but there's nothing under them either? If that is the case then she's tempted to at least shovel them into a pile, but then, wouldn't want to be caught tampering to that degree. Next up, she'll check out the rack itself and anything nearby it.]

[cartesio]

[ Nothing under them either, nope. Nor anything in else strange in the clothing section.

If she ventures to some other sections, however, she'll find an empty space, where it seems some rope was taken from. ]

[pecker]

[Are there any ropes that were not taken, for reference of what this rope should be like?]

[cartesio]

[ Yep! The type doesn't really matter, but it's a bundle of just...generic rope? The most generic rope. ]

[pecker]

[Cool cool cool. Anything else in here then]

[cartesio]

[ One more thing! One of the hunting knifes, the ones with the serrated edges, is also missing. ]

[pecker]

[Good to note. Although, none of it is as weird as the coats across the floor.]
