[ so how is everyone doing today? pretty badly, I'd assume, but there's so little of them left, not to mention that Bolin is going to get executed because of an accident. on top of that, there's the confusion coming from the public.

so what's going on.

today's going to be a little different - as Sakura seeks everyone out. she knows it's tough, but given the circumstances, she wants to invite everyone to meet her in front of the police station.

we're having a jail cell afterparty, apparently. oh, and she's brought pancakes because... you all probably need that after. All of This. of course people can always ignore her request and just go somewhere else, but where are you tonight? ]

[well, Osomatsu was going to go to the jail cell anyway to talk with Bolin. but it's fine if everyone else is there. it's better, even.

he's brought along the courtroom requests he obtained from the bailiff, and he'll wait until people are around to say what they are]

I guess these were requests that were made for using the courtroom. They... weren't made by the Sergeant, any of them. In fact, one of the papers said I made a request, an' I sure as hell didn't. Ever.

Do you think that the Sergeant-san might have forged them...? Or made them think that our group made the requests so they would have been put under our names? [ like, actually. are these courtroom requests signed by the ones who requested them or what??? ]

If he can do all the other stuff he does, then it would've been easy for him to forge 'em. Right?

...I just wonder if these were the papers the other guys wanted us to find.

Probably.

[ on both accounts... ] You think we can find out?

I don't like the idea of it, but... maybe we could ask Bolin-san to pass messages for us. [ to you know. the others. ] We always hear from them on Thursdays, right? Maybe they'll respond back to us that way...?

...it might work if he goes to the same place as... them... [this is a bit scary to think about]

... Yeah. [ her voice is a little quiet, though ]

...What messages do you want him to pass on? I can... talk to him.

[Keith wasn't exactly planning on being at the party, more than he wanted to talk to Bolin, but...

He pauses when Oso brings this up because he'd really stupidly gotten sidetracked by arguing with Natalie instead of paying attention to that stuff with Juno.]

Yeah, sure.

[he'll hand over several papers to Keith. the requests for the use of the courtroom were apparently taken out by Bolin, Dazai, Frasier, Hawks, Kino, and Osomatsu, himself]

[He reads through the list, but seems... confused.]

Did Hawks and Frasier ever execute anyone?

[Doesn't think so, but he's tired as hell right now, and frankly still has no clue who executed Nine since he was uh... still in jail at the time.]

[he shakes his head]

Don't think so. I'm pretty sure Oda and Milli-chan were the first two executioners, an' they're not there. Wayne isn't, either.

[He's shaking his head then handing the papers back to Oso.]

Don't know what this is about then. I don't know if this is the Sergeant messing with paperwork to make it look like you guys signed it instead of him, or if this is like those pictures in the guestbook -- y'know?

[he takes the papers back]

[A beat, then he clarifies.]

I never smile in pictures. That photo of me shouldn't even exist, so I don't know how or where he got it from. The court documents cold be like that, too. You know. Like he made you sign that paperwork and then wiped your memory of it.

[ohhhh. Osomatsu shudders a bit at that]

Man, I don't wanna think about him gettin' in my head. [he looks down at the papers again, trying to find a link between all of these people]

[Kino had to be retrieved from the kitchen most likely, but she is here and alive, fancy that.]

...Changing perceptions again...?

The Sergeant has probably been making it so we can't see buildings until he wants us to. Keith and I thought he might have been changing our perceptions of the cars and... planes? In the hangar as well.

It's not a stretch to think he can make the townspeople perceive things differently, too.

[ah, yeah. he considers, then nods]

That's what I'm thinking, too. [it's better than thinking Sarge was... controlling them, somehow] They don't really talk about him a lot, do they?

I couldn't get too much out of them when I asked about him. Just vague things like how he kept to himself. They didn't even know if he grew up here or moved.

Sounds weird to me. You'd think someone would've been able to say that he wasn't a native to this place. Maybe their brains have been put into a fog, too.

I think that's likely. Did anything important happen besides the murder and the trial...?

[It's so weird being so out of the loop.]

I can't think of anything, other than the murder actually being an accident. Bolin didn't mean to kill Kinzie. He tried to cover it up, though, 'cause he was scared.
