week seven afterparty

[ so how is everyone doing today? pretty badly, I'd assume, but there's so little of them left, not to mention that Bolin is going to get executed because of an accident. on top of that, there's the confusion coming from the public.

so what's going on.

today's going to be a little different - as Sakura seeks everyone out. she knows it's tough, but given the circumstances, she wants to invite everyone to meet her in front of the police station.

yeah.

we're having a jail cell afterparty, apparently. oh, and she's brought pancakes because... you all probably need that after. All of This. of course people can always ignore her request and just go somewhere else, but where are you tonight? ]

[well, Osomatsu was going to go to the jail cell anyway to talk with Bolin. but it's fine if everyone else is there. it's better, even.

he's brought along the courtroom requests he obtained from the bailiff, and he'll wait until people are around to say what they are]

I guess these were requests that were made for using the courtroom. They... weren't made by the Sergeant, any of them. In fact, one of the papers said I made a request, an' I sure as hell didn't. Ever.

[Like previous weeks, Natalie doesn't attend the party. Unlike previous weeks, though, she can't be found anywhere else in the town. She's missing from the pond, the library, and any other place she tends to frequent when she needs to think. Anyone with good timing might run into her on her way from the courtroom to the motel or, much later, from the motel on a brief trip to the jail, but other than that...

Well, her door is available to be knocked on, at least.]

[Keith is only ever incidentally at the party when he's there to try speaking to Bolin. After everything that happened at the trial and afterwards with the call for volunteering for executioner, he's just kinda drained and doesn't have a whole lot of spare energy for socializing.

He's more present at the park later with Cosmo. The two of them are hanging out in a secluded area, further away from the statue + fort monster combo. Hard to believe that was a big concern of his at the end of last week.]

It's all over next week, huh.

[He's giving the space wolf idle ear skritches.]

[ she's the one who invited people over so obviously she's here, but... everyone isn't here today so she'll leave the information that she's got for another day. while she does have pancakes, there's also something else in her arms that's new: it's a bright green teddy bear. huh. nevertheless, she's trying her best to stay determined in spite of everything, but it's because she's so steadfast that allows her to do this much. ]

[ Bolin has already accepted his fate. He looks resolute as the bailiffs escort him to his jail cell. He's fully prepared to make some sort of joke as he gets locked in, about how "Maybe this is the time he'll learn metalbending!". Everything is going as much as according to plan as he could have liked. The bars to the cell open and he walks inside. It's only once the door is locked does he notice an odd shape in the blanket on the bed.

It moves, and Bolin looks harder at it until a familiar chirp emerges from it.

Bolin's face slowly morphs into dawning horror as the shape continues to move until this creature emerges from it. It chirps once more and leaps at Bolin, who instinctively catches it. ]

Pabu...

[ Pabu chirps once more and then immediately, Bolin crumbles into the floor, pulling Pabu into his arms. ]

Oh, Pabu, Pabu... I'm sorry, I'm so sorry!

[ Pabu continues to chirp, not sure why Bolin is sad, but is doing his best to cheer him up.

Sorry to anyone who followed Bolin to his cell, because he's not going to pay attention to you for the moment........ ]
