[ so how is everyone doing today? pretty badly, I'd assume, but there's so little of them left, not to mention that Bolin is going to get executed because of an accident. on top of that, there's the confusion coming from the public.

so what's going on.

today's going to be a little different - as Sakura seeks everyone out. she knows it's tough, but given the circumstances, she wants to invite everyone to meet her in front of the police station.

we're having a jail cell afterparty, apparently. oh, and she's brought pancakes because... you all probably need that after. All of This. of course people can always ignore her request and just go somewhere else, but where are you tonight? ]

He kept going on about how, like, Bolin has his earth powers and that could be useful, so everyone should vote for him instead because he's way more expendable or some bullshit.

Me, Osomatsu, Niwa, and then the two of them. So... It's pretty clear it wasn't actually about who's expendable as far as abilities go.

[Because it would have been her or Osomatsu that he brought up, if that were the case.]

[She gives a soft sigh.]

Did he volunteer as executioner then?

[She quiets for a moment.]

...Yes, but I was picked.

[quickpersuader]

[...Oh. It's met with a moment of silence from Kino as well.]

...I offered Mr. Matsuno when he was chosen, but he didn't take me up on it. But I'll make the same offer:

[She looks surprised for a moment, but then... She nods, wordlessly.]

I need to eat. But I'll drop by again once I'm done. It's not the same type, but you can use my revolver for practice.

Will that work?

Yeah. Um... Take your time, I guess.

[It's not like she's going to become an expert in one night, no matter how long they spend working on it.]

Yeah. Still... it's better if you have time for as much rest as you can get.

[Though she's not going to bet on Natalie having much of a restful night.

True to her word however, once she's had time to get food, she'll return with a soft knock on Natalie's door.]

[When she hears the knock and Kino's voice, she opens the door easily enough.]

Let's go to the park for now.

[robitussin]

[She nods, coming out of the door and shutting it behind her.]

Did you need me to bring anything, or...?

No, I've got everything you'll need.

[And out they go! Kino already took the courtesy of setting up the plate, hanging it from the branches again.]

I'll just be teaching you how to shoot, unless you really want to know how to wield one for self-defense. But... that's something that should be left for tomorrow, if that's the case.

[robitussin]

...This was the last trial. I don't think I'll be needing self defense lessons.

[She watches as she sets up the plate, though.]

Then I won't force you.

[Though she still thinks it could be useful for other reasons. Once the plate's up, she walks over to a spot she judges to be about the right distance, gesturing Natalie over.]

This isn't the exact model of gun he'll be giving you, but it should work for this.

[And, reaching for the gun on her right hip, she provides a revolver.]

This one has more of a recoil than the one you'll be using. So... actually, that one will be easier to work with than this, but it's better than not being prepared for recoil at all.

Are you ready?

[She listens carefully to everything Kino says, and then takes a step forward to take the gun.]

...I think so, yeah.

[To learn, at least.]

Okay. It's too late to use the targets unfortunately, so we'll just have to do our best with what we have.

The two places I would recommend shooting are the head or the heart. If he's willing, the head would be the fastest. If he's not, the heart is easier to hit - especially if you fire off three rounds. That should pretty much ensure a fatal wound.

For now, let's just try one at a time. Try to hit the plate.

So... The head would be more painless, because it's fastest?

[She holds the gun up before she shoots, glancing towards Kino.]

[Not quite. Her arms are stiff as she holds it up; she's gripping it so tightly that her knuckles are going white.]

Yeah. If you can shoot the head, there's very little chance they'll survive.

[Kino walks over to Natalie now, taking in her stance.]

You need to loosen your arms and your grip. You're too nervous.

[As she tries to relax her posture slightly:]
