week seven afterparty

[ so how is everyone doing today? pretty badly, I'd assume, but there's so little of them left, not to mention that Bolin is going to get executed because of an accident. on top of that, there's the confusion coming from the public.

so what's going on.

today's going to be a little different - as Sakura seeks everyone out. she knows it's tough, but given the circumstances, she wants to invite everyone to meet her in front of the police station.

we're having a jail cell afterparty, apparently. oh, and she's brought pancakes because... you all probably need that after. All of This. of course people can always ignore her request and just go somewhere else, but where are you tonight? ]

[Osomatsu comes to the jail a little later, also, since he was talking to a few people about those papers he obtained. he sighs through his nose when he sees Bolin. he feels... so sad seeing him like this. he's just a kid. it's like this whole ordeal is one big failure]

[tuffguy]

[ just like everyone else coming to the cell, osomatsu will see one (1) new fire ferret curled around Bolin's shoulders. ]

Hey, Osomatsu.

[relieable]

[oh... oh! that is... a cute animal! Osomatsu looks at it at first, then focuses on Bolin]

It'd be stupid to ask you how you're doing. [a familiar conversation] I'm just... I'm really sorry.

[tuffguy]

It's alright. I... could have done a lot more to keep all this from happening.

[relieable]

[looking back on it, he probably could have, too. but he doesn't say that]

...I, uh. I know this is probably an awful time to be bringing this up, but Sakura-chan and I were talkin' and we thought you might be able to pass messages on for us. Or, you know, help us. From the other side.

[tuffguy]

Yeah, that's what I was planning on doing.

[relieable]

[a small, sad smile]

Thanks, Bolin. [a beat] Sakura-chan is really interested in knowing if several people are over there. Lovepon, Mira, and someone named Gabe. She thinks Gabe is... related to the Sergeant somehow. Lovepon and Mira should know her, but Gabe might not.

[tuffguy]

I'll ask around when I get there. I'm sure they're over there.

[relieable]

[a nod]

And then... [he holds out the papers he's been carrying towards Bolin, so that he can look at them if he wants] This is a bit weird. But one of the bailiffs gave me these courthouse records. I think it was because of what you said at the end, there.

...They're records of people who made requests for use of the courthouse every week. Your name's on one of 'em, an' so's mine.

[tuffguy]

--What? How?!

[ rushing towards the bars and looking over the forms ]

I never requested the courthouse for anything!

[relieable]

Neither did I, and I'm pretty sure Kino didn't, either. I can't confirm for the others, [because they are dead] but I'm guessing none of us made these requests, at least not willingly.

Keith thinks ol' Sarge might've been controlling us, and Kino thinks he could just be fucking around with peoples' perceptions again. Either way, it's not good, and we can't find what ties the people on these papers together, other than the fact that the requests were all made by outsiders.

[tuffguy]

It doesn't make sense... If he's controlling us, would it be enough for us to not remember anything that happened while we were doing what he wanted us to do?

[ he squints at the papers ] But either way, it's just more proof that he's been using us.

[relieable]

I really don't know. Keith seems t'think that we're all being used for an experiment. Whatever he's doing is bad news. [he points to the papers] But if you can find any way to connect these to Sarge, or tell us what we're supposed to do with 'em, that'd be great.

[tuffguy]

I'll do what I can, yeah.

[Osomatsu looks at him, letting out a sigh. how awful to ask Bolin for a favor right before he's going to die. but Osomatsu hopes this will help out everyone in the long run]

Thanks. [he smiles, then looks at the critter riding on Bolin's shoulder. this must be...] That's your fire ferret, yeah?

[tuffguy]

Yeah, this is Pabu.

[ he shifts his shoulders slightly, and Pabu takes the hint, hopping off and jumping into his hands. he holds him out ]

Pabu, this is Osomatsu.

[Pabu! that's right. Osomatsu's grin gets a little wider]
