May 25th - Final Day

Final Investigation
It's Friday. It's the last day marked in your calendar. Presumably, the few without medals will leave at some point today, and the rest...you're not sure what'll happen to you, but it'll be what the Sergeant wants.
How to defy him when you have so little time left?
Whatever plan you had today, it's guaranteed it won't go like expected. Early in the morning, the ground rumble slightly, and something pops in the sky. Fireworks! One after another, blasts from firework spread through the sky. Many of the residents of Cartesio come to the street, gathering and making all the noise they can.
It's a very radical change of behavior, compared to the once peaceful demeanor they had, and then the hostile behavior showed towards the visitors, but now they're making hubbub and causing disorder. Everyone does it spontaneously, and nobody's approaching the motel at all.
At least none of the townspeople.
Not long after that started, you may hear the noise of horns and whistles from vehicles, right outside the motel. Go take a look?

This side - or this version of Cartesio where we are sent after we die or whatever the hell - is the same as that Cartesio. Just missing all the people and all the doors were unlocked. We started to figure out what the hell was happening early on, but didn’t have any actual proof until now.
First, the houses all in town are all set up like out of some kind of magazine ad. Like they aren’t actually lived in. Then when we messed with the lodge, things seem to be less stable here. Things started to glitch out or there’s static in places. Words became unreadable for a second, and then was normal again. There was a guy at the oil refinery who had his whole foot through a pipe! And a jacket floated up through the ceiling, but it became solid after that.
There’s a machine in the junkyard that can control the weather here. Bakugou also found a code in the fire station on the screens, which is what you heard just before this message. It’s the town’s code. This whole place isn’t actually here. The town people are just interactive elements and aren’t real either.

...A simulation...?
[That's something she's heard of, at least.]

We are in a simulation. The Sergeant is a virtual entity as well. We are all just copies inside of a computer. This whole thing is a mental training program. The shady faced bastard’s job is to train everyone to gain skills that would be useful to come. Shit like building societies, farming, teamwork, etc… It’s some kind of world rebuilding program, and at the end of it, those select few who meets the standards would return to their world, or just their memories, knowledge, and whatever they deem as necessary would go back to where their real bodies are.
The Sarge’s job is supposed to be enriching the minds of everyone here. There’s nothing about murder in any of this stuff we found. This is important to remember, and we’ll get back to this in a moment.
[ And then the person breaks into the most passionate chicken dance ever seen on someone who is still speaking on flatly with a perfectly straight face. ]
There’s a list of those who have been enriched by him to his standards.
1. Keet 95%
2. Kino 90%
3. Natalie Goodman 80%
4. Osomatsu Matsuno 80%
5. Sakura Kinomoto 5%
He’s not there to teach everyone though. Some people have the role of influencers, and they help influence or change the minds of the others to help the Sarge out with his teachings or whatever. Niwa and Gant are the living influencers. They might be key to helping out how much we can remember and take with us back when we return to our worlds.

There is a list of townspeople describing their traits, as well as files containing their speech patterns and biographies, but we can’t look further into those. Robert Miller is not on that list for some reason.
If you can prove that the Sergeant has gone rogue, then people can go home as long as they meet the parameters the bastard sets. So yeah, everything around us is fake, but the memories and everything that happened here can be brought home with them. Ask Sarge about those who don’t have a life to get back to if you guys get the chance. And work on convincing the bastard to give up admin rights as well. We did assign a few of you as admins, but he needs to approve it as well.
Also an interesting message we got while digging!
Something about a system maintenance recommended.
There was a capacity overload with the trial run.
[ At this point, the dance gets more creative than merely chicken dance! The person got some moves! ]

Do you take anything seriously?!
[Can he just... go stab Gant's weird mannequin clone. Can that be a thing.]

After the dance break, the person is back to delivering info: ]
Also the directives for this whole thing is as follows:
Directive A: Only those who have a medal will be allowed to leave.
Directive B: The tasks for awarding medals are left up to the Sergeant’s discretion, unless he willingly forfeits the right, in which case the administrator will be in charge of this directive.
Directive C: An administrator can override the Sergeant as long as the framework of the simulation and its directives aren’t infringed.
Directive D: The Administrator can move assets and minds through the use of the administrator’s device.
The Administrator Clause: Only someone currently present in the main layer of the simulation can be an administrator.
[ He points, as if to say “that means you.” ]
We found a document with a lot of technical jargon and some good info. It says there's a way to leave without Sergeant-san's permission. Additionally, this all has to do with reconstructing a world.
We found Gabe’s name. Is that what you were asking about? How did you know about that?

Reconstructing a world...?

We could see and hear the people from the first week here, but they suddenly vanished on Thursday. The “Minds” directory still has them under the “Integrated” folder, so they probably haven’t been completely deactivated.
Oh, where we’re at is called Processing. Basically we’re on timeout or whatever the hell until he can brainwash us and make us into the others in town. He seems to have hit a snag in this whole operation, which is why we’re still here or something. He didn’t account for Nagaisa, Will, or the others from that first week being able to resist the reprogramming. So they have something or just are stubborn as hell enough to be a thorn in his side. They don’t know how or why but it’s kind of cool.
We got proof of all of this shit and found a manual inside of the Lodge. It might be the main place to interact and change things in Cartesio. It’s the walls and there’s a device in the hole Bakugou blew up in here. We will be checking in from time to time to see if you guys make any changes if we don’t get blocked from Sarge.
We’ll do what we can from this end. The rest will be up to you guys. Convince the Sarge to let you guys have admin rights. Let Sakura talk to him. She might be able to get through to him.
We believe in you.
[ And then he dabs.
Returning to T-Pose after, he adds one more statement: ]
Also tell that Sergeant Bastard that he can go fuck himself--and don’t suck up to the asshole.

We need to get administrator rights in order to get everyone outta here? [he seems nervous about making Sakura talk to the Sergeant. but she may be their only hope...]
