Final Investigation

It's Friday. It's the last day marked in your calendar. Presumably, the few without medals will leave at some point today, and the rest...you're not sure what'll happen to you, but it'll be what the Sergeant wants.

How to defy him when you have so little time left?

Whatever plan you had today, it's guaranteed it won't go like expected. Early in the morning, the ground rumble slightly, and something pops in the sky. Fireworks! One after another, blasts from firework spread through the sky. Many of the residents of Cartesio come to the street, gathering and making all the noise they can.

It's a very radical change of behavior, compared to the once peaceful demeanor they had, and then the hostile behavior showed towards the visitors, but now they're making hubbub and causing disorder. Everyone does it spontaneously, and nobody's approaching the motel at all.

At least none of the townspeople.

Not long after that started, you may hear the noise of horns and whistles from vehicles, right outside the motel. Go take a look?

Turns out it's all right. In front of the motel, there are a few vehicles awaiting. A fire truck, a couple patrol cars, and a pair of normal cars, all waiting.

Driving there's people you know. Nanette is handling one of the patrol cars, Davis holds the steering wheel of one of the cars, and with them, gathered onto the vehicles, are a lot of people you know.

[ SHE'S EXTREMELY SHOCKED and it's obvious by the sound of her hoeeeee but also there's traces of relief in her expression too because the ones from her group are safe. ] Wait, really?! [ she doesn't move just yet though, keeping a little cautious ]

[ that's definitely a thing and while it's loud, Sakura is definitely going to make the mistake of exiting the hotel. what exactly do we got here and how screwed are we? ]

[ guess we're splitting up and Sakura is going to be preparing herself by taking out her key and calling out: Release! in a whisper to turn it into a staff. just going to check in for any magical or supernatural/ghostly pings ofc as she stays close to the others ]

GROUP B (Reception Area and Downstairs)

[Right, well Keith's taken a couple of steps in here before so he'll head on in, looking around with his bayard in hand just in case. Cosmo's sticking close to him. Anything change or look different?]

CLOSING INFORMATION

[ This stranger who’s just morphed out of a doll stands in a perfect T-Pose and as if that wasn’t weird enough, he begins talking as well. ‘Reciting’ might be a more fitting word for it. Monotonously, words upon words come out of his mouth and… none of them make sense? Listening in for a bit, one might realize this to be a bit of computer code. The words align, clip and default appear a lot - along with something called r.schw for some reason. ]
