WEEK 2: April 8th - April 12th

Second Week

Seven days have passed. Quite peaceful days, almost too peaceful. The town has welcomed you, excited to see tourists for the first time in many, many, many years. Some may have liked the peace, others may have been annoyed by it, but it was undeniable Cartesio seemed like such a nice and safe place it was hard to believe you had been told to kill each other.

But the threat is still up in the air. What's more: how much patience does the Sergeant have left?

Every time you take a look into the Lodge, you see the Sergeant. Lately he's looking more and more annoyed. Even though you can't see his face, you can feel he's getting frustrated. How long will it be before he lashes out and does something about these peaceful days?

Nobody in the town could suspect the harrowing times that'd befall Cartesio.

When you wake up on Sunday, you'll find new maps in the map rack and brochures on the table, showing places you hadn't noticed in the town before. Enjoy!

Anyway, nah. You could call this a special exception, not that it feels very special.

No problem. [ He is the best obiv. And his grin is just friendly! ]

What's so special 'bout sliding down a pole?

Come on, isn't it obvious? The sliding part! [ Obviously??? Except that's what did him in. ] Haven't you ever wanted to try it before? I bet it'd be a lot more fun for you than it was me.

No. I'd rather just jump. [ At least he would have more control then. And maybe he's capable of slowing his descent with fire just like Endeavor because why not. But what's this about a bet? ] Why's that?

[ It was a figurative bet, Dabi!! But if you want it to be literal, that's fun too. ]

Why not try it and find out? [ Even though the answer is obvious to him. He got sick sliding down, you probably won't...! ]

No. It would give me a headache. [ Cause why admit that his reaction would be similar enough to Sting's when he just made fun of him for it. Motion sickness sucks. ]
