WEEK 2: April 8th - April 12th

Second Week

Seven days have passed. Quite peaceful days, almost too peaceful. The town has welcomed you, excited to see tourists for the first time in many, many, many years. Some may have liked the peace, others may have been annoyed by it, but it was undeniable Cartesio seemed like such a nice and safe place it was hard to believe you had been told to kill each other.

But the threat is still up in the air. What's more: how much patience does the Sergeant have left?

Every time you take a look into the Lodge, you see the Sergeant. Lately he's looking more and more annoyed. Even though you can't see his face, you can feel he's getting frustrated. How long will it be before he lashes out and does something about these peaceful days?

Nobody in the town could suspect the harrowing times that'd befall Cartesio.

When you wake up on Sunday, you'll find new maps in the map rack and brochures on the table, showing places you hadn't noticed in the town before. Enjoy!

... A little. I miss Syaoran-kun and Tomoyo-chan and my dad and my onii-chan, too.

[relieable]

[ahh! an onii-chan!]

I didn't know you had a big brother. I'll bet he really misses you, too! I know I would.

[clearities]

He might, but he's also really mean sometimes! Still calling me a 'monster' even though he's in college...

[relieable]

Haaa? A monster? But there's nothing monstrous about you. What a mean onii-chan! [like you're not mean to your own brothers, Osomatsu]

[clearities]

Right?! [ She's so glad that someone actually understands her! ] But even though he's like that... I do miss him.

[relieable]

[a light sigh]

Yeah, I miss my family, too. I bet they're worried sick about me! An' if they're not, they should be!

[clearities]

I hope you can get back to your family too. They're really important to you, aren't they?

[relieable]

[a pause, and Osomatsu looks more serious than before]

I mean... I give 'em hell, of course, especially my brothers. But, yeah. They're important to me. We've all been kinda doin' our own things lately, like finding new jobs, and friends. So we haven't really gotten to hang out as much together like we used to. [he looks down] I just wanna know they're okay.

[clearities]

Then... [ It might be a little sudden, but Sakura makes an attempt to grab Osomatsu's hands with her own. ] We have to make it out of here, the both of us. Since your brothers are really important to you and you'd like to see them again... I want to help you so that you can go home and see them again.

[relieable]

[oh. pure. Osomatsu blinks when Sakura grabs his hands, and he looks into those big green eyes. he's stunned into silence for a moment, before he, too, smiles, and nods]

Yeah! Let's both get outta this place! [they just had to survive a couple months, right? that shouldn't be too hard! he squeezes her hands]

[clearities]

Yeah. And if you ever need my help with anything... I'll help you out. [ She sounds pretty determined, at the very least as her smile looks rather pleased with herself. ]

[relieable]

Same! [though he doesn't know what Sakura could help him with, but he feels if they all help each other, that should make this go by more smoothly.

right?]
