Seven days have passed. Quite peaceful days, almost too peaceful. The town has welcomed you, excited to see tourists for the first time in many, many,
many years. Some may have liked the peace, others may have been annoyed by it, but it was undeniable Cartesio seemed like such a nice and safe place it was hard to believe you had been told to kill each other.
But the threat is still up in the air. What's more: how much patience does the Sergeant have left?
Every time you take a look into the Lodge, you see the Sergeant. Lately he's looking more and more annoyed. Even though you can't see his face, you can feel he's getting frustrated. How long will it be before he lashes out and does something about these peaceful days?
Nobody in the town could suspect the harrowing times that'd befall Cartesio.
When you wake up on Sunday, you'll find
new maps in the map rack and brochures on the table, showing places you hadn't noticed in the town before. Enjoy!

[Jughead twiddles the pen between his fingers. He’s not very far in yet, but if anything good can come of this situation it’s that there’s a good story beneath it all.]

[ Cian attempts what is supposed to be an optimistic smile. ]
Why was the last one about murder?

Do you only write about real events then?

[His strongest work has been non-fiction, real lives are just so much more complicated.]
Like this place. You couldn't make it up, as much as you'd want to.

[ She is very genre aware in that her own world is absolutely like an old science fiction novel, but it's also nowhere like this. ]

[A quick glance at his notes to soak up that statement.]
I can’t even say my own disbeliefs are suspended.

Hallucinations don't last this long and aren't this vivid, I think.

[Because he's not ready to rule it out.]

But that also makes me think it can't be it - I have a health software installed that prevents any symptoms of illness from manifesting. WatchMe wouldn't fail like this for so long.

[Actually, the sweat was all on Keith.]

You've got a point, then...

And nobody here has the technology to actually access the software in my body, I am pretty sure.

Well, given none of this place is up to the standards I'm used to, that might happen anyway.
