WEEK 2: April 8th - April 12th

Second Week

Seven days have passed. Quite peaceful days, almost too peaceful. The town has welcomed you, excited to see tourists for the first time in many, many, many years. Some may have liked the peace, others may have been annoyed by it, but it was undeniable Cartesio seemed like such a nice and safe place it was hard to believe you had been told to kill each other.

But the threat is still up in the air. What's more: how much patience does the Sergeant have left?

Every time you take a look into the Lodge, you see the Sergeant. Lately he's looking more and more annoyed. Even though you can't see his face, you can feel he's getting frustrated. How long will it be before he lashes out and does something about these peaceful days?

Nobody in the town could suspect the harrowing times that'd befall Cartesio.

When you wake up on Sunday, you'll find new maps in the map rack and brochures on the table, showing places you hadn't noticed in the town before. Enjoy!

I'm not really good at explaining... but it's just that I can kind of feel it? Like another sense? And I don't know, I haven't really tried, but there's a lot of people with magic here. I could try, though. I wanted to talk to Sergeant-san again. [ That's a dangerous line she's walking on, though. ] Mmhm. I can use magic cards.

[linearcrash]

[ Yuuuup. And on one hand it would be useful to know cause his whole... smokescreen bullshit? But... ]

If you go, take someone with you. Who knows what the hell he'll do if you're alone, yo.

[ Not that he cares. Obviously. Though he'll actually kind of give this fond little smile for a moment at the cards. ]

Ace uses cards, too.

Um... [ There's a bit of hesitance on her end before she answers, a little awkwardly. ] I actually did talk to him once by myself last week, actually. [ Oops. ] But cards? What were their cards like?

[linearcrash]

[ Sakura no. Sakura stop. ]

You're way too trusting.

[ Not that Nine can really talk... but he's a big old meat shield. ]

Like magic, yo. He could throw them to hit someone, use magic, or do buffs.

[ There is admiration there in his tone. ]

It's not like I trust the Sergeant-san, really, but... I don't think he would do anything to me? That's what I felt when I talked to him. [ Or the vibe she got, anyway? Like she knew that he hurt people before, but she didn't really sense danger when she was talking to him? ] He threw his cards?! [ Spoken as if it's the most shocking thing to hear today. ] That's really amazing... I can't do buffs with my magic, so he must be really cool. [ Sakura literally has no support or healing magic and it's the saddest thing. ]

[linearcrash]

[ Huffing out a breath. She is just going to do the thing anyways isn't she... ]

Hey, at least let people know or something. That way someone can make sure something shady doesn't happen, yo.

[ Well, more shady then the dudes face. ]

He's a part of Class Zero, so he is definitely cool.

[clearities]

[ She sure is! Most likely, anyway... ] I will, I promise. [ And she doesn't break her promises. ] Um... but what's Class Zero? [ Please explain. ]

[ And with that, he'll drop the matter and focus on Class Zero ]

It's the class I'm part of, yo. We're pretty badass.

Oh! So you go to school too? What kind of school is it?

[linearcrash]

An elite school for training to become Agito. They are supposed to major badasses in magic and-

[ There's a pause as it hits him. It seems like something knocked the wind out of sales as he crosses his arms. ]

They were supposed to show up at the end to save the day.

[clearities]

Ho~e? Agito? [????]

[linearcrash]

[ It's still strange that people don't know what that is. Pausing a moment to really mull it over. ]

That's what they are called. Not sure what the hell the meaning. Didn't get to really see for myself what it'll take to count as one.

[clearities]

Do you know what they do, though?

[linearcrash]

[ He shakes his head ]

That would be something Queen, Ace, or Trey would know.
