WEEK 2: April 8th - April 12th

Second Week

Seven days have passed. Quite peaceful days, almost too peaceful. The town has welcomed you, excited to see tourists for the first time in many, many, many years. Some may have liked the peace, others may have been annoyed by it, but it was undeniable Cartesio seemed like such a nice and safe place it was hard to believe you had been told to kill each other.

But the threat is still up in the air. What's more: how much patience does the Sergeant have left?

Every time you take a look into the Lodge, you see the Sergeant. Lately he's looking more and more annoyed. Even though you can't see his face, you can feel he's getting frustrated. How long will it be before he lashes out and does something about these peaceful days?

Nobody in the town could suspect the harrowing times that'd befall Cartesio.

When you wake up on Sunday, you'll find new maps in the map rack and brochures on the table, showing places you hadn't noticed in the town before. Enjoy!

[no she does not understand how a security alarm works still NO SHE ISN'T LOWERING THE ARROW]

[She keeps the arrow trained on him for a couple seconds longer before she lowers her bow and lets the string go slack, but she doesn't put the arrow away.]

What's the big deal? If it's keeping us from getting out, I can wreck it, no problem.

[girl who shot the movie screen attempts to act like she has any authority on what she can and can't do to technology]

It's an alarm, it's not going to stop us, but it is going to draw attention to us.

Which, I don't think we want right now.

Olympia pokes her from behind.]

[WHIRLS AROUND AND POINTS THE ARROW AT HER and she very nearly lets it go, if you're paying attention you can see how she has to make the effort to clamp her fingers back around the arrow to keep it from firing—that's some impressive control, anyway]

You wanna die?!

[carbide]

[Olympia doesn't even blink.

She's holding her other hand in front of her chest, though. Would that make a difference? Who knows?]

Is this how you solve all your problems?

[snideper]

It works.

[scoffs, and she lets the bowstring go slack but only so she can adjust the arrow]

Try me like that again and I'm not going to be so nice.

I wouldn't suggest killing anyone in front of so many witnesses.

[Yes, Olympia, that's definitely the main problem here.]
