WEEK 2: April 8th - April 12th

Second Week

Seven days have passed. Quite peaceful days, almost too peaceful. The town has welcomed you, excited to see tourists for the first time in many, many, many years. Some may have liked the peace, others may have been annoyed by it, but it was undeniable Cartesio seemed like such a nice and safe place it was hard to believe you had been told to kill each other.

But the threat is still up in the air. What's more: how much patience does the Sergeant have left?

Every time you take a look into the Lodge, you see the Sergeant. Lately he's looking more and more annoyed. Even though you can't see his face, you can feel he's getting frustrated. How long will it be before he lashes out and does something about these peaceful days?

Nobody in the town could suspect the harrowing times that'd befall Cartesio.

When you wake up on Sunday, you'll find new maps in the map rack and brochures on the table, showing places you hadn't noticed in the town before. Enjoy!

[ He looks startled for a moment before he starts laughing. ]

Guess I don't have to ask if you know her.

[ He seems stupidly proud at that? ]

How could anybody here not know her? She's everywhere. She never ends.

[Squint and you might actually hear a hint of fondness, even if she'll deny it until the end of time.]

[ That requires thinking. Nine does look around at that to see if she'll pop up. He's kind of hoping just to drop it all off quietly at the hotel ]

Shh. She'll pop up if you say it.

[ Not that he would mind really... but it's the principal of it or something ]

[A beat.]

Actually, yeah, I could buy her having a sixth sense. Good point.

Part of the job of being a spy.

[ Moving down the shelves and pausing at the display of key chains at the end. Maybe some sparkly ones would work? Picking one up to consider it. ]

What color looks more like a shark?

[ Holding up a blue on and a silver one. Nine has never seen what an ACTUAL shark looks like. ]

[She pauses, glancing at both colors, before:]

I literally have no idea why you're asking me that.

What? Haven't seen one before?

[ That's obviously the issue, right]

[robitussin]

I’ve seen one, that doesn’t make me a shark expert. Also, why are you giving her the tools to construct a glitter shark?

She seems really into making them, yo. Wanting to step up her game to get the town talking about it again.

[ Cause it makes Millium happy but he's.... not going to just say that. ]
