WEEK 2: April 8th - April 12th

Second Week

Seven days have passed. Quite peaceful days, almost too peaceful. The town has welcomed you, excited to see tourists for the first time in many, many, many years. Some may have liked the peace, others may have been annoyed by it, but it was undeniable Cartesio seemed like such a nice and safe place it was hard to believe you had been told to kill each other.

But the threat is still up in the air. What's more: how much patience does the Sergeant have left?

Every time you take a look into the Lodge, you see the Sergeant. Lately he's looking more and more annoyed. Even though you can't see his face, you can feel he's getting frustrated. How long will it be before he lashes out and does something about these peaceful days?

Nobody in the town could suspect the harrowing times that'd befall Cartesio.

When you wake up on Sunday, you'll find new maps in the map rack and brochures on the table, showing places you hadn't noticed in the town before. Enjoy!

It talks about how... [ She swallows hard, trying to blink away her tears. ] ... how we're criminals.

She is way too nice to be here. ]

Hey, it's not out fault that bastard kidnapped us and locked us in there. Screw them if they want to blame us.

[ She is, and yet. Here she is, nevertheless. ] M... maybe we can try and convince them! I mean, if we all just tell everyone the truth, they have to believe us, right?

[linearcrash]

[ He rubs the back of his head. A way to convince people, huh? ]

There's no way they will believe us, hey. We have to show them we can do better. You know, help out around the town.

[ He has doubts, and honestly fuck the town, but...

She was crying and she remind him of Deuce ]

Help out... [ She hums a little bit, thoughtfully. ] Oh! I talked to the policewoman at the station and apparently she said there's supposed to be a film festival soon! Maybe we can help out with that-- [ And she cuts herself off. ] But then again, that wouldn't help us get out of this place, huh.

[linearcrash]

Hey, do what you feel is right. If it means helping them out instead of the bastard, then go for it, yo. Maybe you'll find someone here who can actually do something.

[clearities]

Yeah, I will! It'd be really nice if we can help each other.

[linearcrash]

[ He wants to now punch the Sarge for bringing her here twice. ]

Yeah. I'm sure you'll figure it out. Let me know if you need help.

[ Nine isn't... the cooperating and figuring out sort, but he'll help. ]
