WEEK 2: April 8th - April 12th

Second Week

Seven days have passed. Quite peaceful days, almost too peaceful. The town has welcomed you, excited to see tourists for the first time in many, many, many years. Some may have liked the peace, others may have been annoyed by it, but it was undeniable Cartesio seemed like such a nice and safe place it was hard to believe you had been told to kill each other.

But the threat is still up in the air. What's more: how much patience does the Sergeant have left?

Every time you take a look into the Lodge, you see the Sergeant. Lately he's looking more and more annoyed. Even though you can't see his face, you can feel he's getting frustrated. How long will it be before he lashes out and does something about these peaceful days?

Nobody in the town could suspect the harrowing times that'd befall Cartesio.

When you wake up on Sunday, you'll find new maps in the map rack and brochures on the table, showing places you hadn't noticed in the town before. Enjoy!

Oh, hey. [his head snaps up when he hears her voice, and he grins weakly at her]

Guess I was just a little bummed by the newspaper. I think we all got in big trouble.

[robitussin]

...Yeah. Maybe next time we should wear masks or something. Or impersonate one of the townspeople.

[A shrug.]

I dunno if wearing masks would help. Maybe there was just too many of us, all doing different things. [like breaking glass? and using bomb powers?]

[robitussin]

We could grab some police uniforms and use those so everyone thought it was them instead.

[Natalie, no.]

[Natalie]

Wow, you're pretty sneaky!

[robitussin]

[A soft noise of amusement.]

Right, because that would actually work, totally.

[relieable]

[oh, she was being sarcastic]

It's still be funny to see everyone in police uniforms! I bet we'd all look stupid!

[robitussin]

[Her lips quirk upwards into something that's nearly a smile as she leans against his doorway.]

Can you imagine Clarisse putting something like that on willingly?

[relieable]

She's the arrow lady, right? [he looks up at Natalie, grinning] That chick's crazy.

[robitussin]

[She nods, rolling her eyes slightly.]

She's a psychopath, I swear. I can see why she was picked.

[relieable]

[he nods, but then his smile fades]

Yeah, but that makes me wonder why Sarge brought you here. An' Sakura-chan an' Milli-chan. And that bomber guy. Why bring kids here?

[robitussin]

[Almost immediately, she shakes her head.]

I don't know why he brought any of us here, but... If you're worried about it, save it for the others. I'm not a kid.

[relieable]

[Osomatsu tilts his head. it's too late. he's already worried about her, even though he knows how strong she is]

...Just. Be careful, okay? I'd be mad if something happened to my sensitive ray of sunshine over here.

[obviously he's joking, at least about the ray of sunshine part]

[robitussin]

[Again, there's surprise clear on her face for a few moments before she averts her gaze, staring at the ground.]

I'm not any of those things. [Even if he's joking.] Don't sweat it, okay? I'll be fine. Just watch your own back.

[relieable]

Yeah, I know. [a soft chuckle as he pushes himself off the bed] I'm not gonna let someone pull a fast one on me.

[robitussin]

You better keep your door closed the whole night, or I'll be pissed.

[Once again, here comes her questionable way of showing concern.]

[relieable]

[she's so funny!]

Yeah, yeah! I got it. Same goes for you.

[robitussin]

[She nods.]

It's basically always closed, so it's not like it'll be a huge stretch.

[relieable]

Well. Good.

[his is not usually closed, but that's not a bad idea. he'll start shutting it from now on]

Now, if you excuse me, I've gotta find a place to chill my beer. Warm beer is just stupid.
