Week 2 - after trial

[everyone is probably more than a little stunned over what has been going on. while it is true that the Sergeant told them all this would happen, it's different to have to witness it with one's own eyes. while Nine is led away, and the townspeople leave the court, it is up to the visitors to decide how to move forward. do they talk among themselves? do they reflect on the events that took place alone? one thing that is certain is that the Sergeant got his way this week. will he continue to force them to keep picking each other off in the weeks that come? only time will tell.
this isn't really an after party. it's too sad, but perhaps many people will take comfort in the fact that they are not alone. either mingle at the motel, or somewhere else in town, or even visit Nine in his cell. it's up to you as to how you will spend the rest of this afternoon]

[ It's not as if she was really trying to hide it. And even if she was, she wasn't hiding it well. Her smile does fade as she laces her fingers together. ]
It reminds me of someone really important to me. When I was really sad... and about to cry, he'd tell me that there was no point in crying. That it wouldn't solve anything. And yet, I can't help but feel sad and want to cry.
[ She's trying to absolutely not, however. ]

[ Like just sayin'. ]
He's right that it doesn't solve anything, it's just a waste of fucking time. [ ... ] But if you have to cry just do it and get it over with already.
[ He's definitely not the right person for this, but the way he sees it, she's a kid (he is too but he doesn't see himself in the same category, k) and kids cry all the time so she'll just doing it a lot more of it if she tries to hold it in. ]

[ She laughs a little bit lightly, in what seems to be a little hollow. But she shakes her head when he says those words. ]
I think I've cried enough. [ Even though she knows very well that isn't true, Sakura wants to be strong. Everyone else can hold themselves together, so why can't she? ] If I cry more than I already have... I don't know if I'll be able to stop.

[ Bakugou definitely knows how to talk to upset kids, yep. ]
Then don't. [ ... ] It's annoying listen to people cry.
[ He's so good at this. ]
It'll be easier to focus on what we can do instead of getting fucking caught up in what we couldn't prevent.

[ She apologizes, smiling a little more genuinely this time. It's okay, Bakugou, she's dealt with grumps before. This isn't anything new to her. ]
But you're right! There's a lot of things that we can all do... even now. I still want to help everyone, so I'll still do my best with what I can do.
