The peaceful times are over. Moloch von Zinzer was murdered, and Nine was sentenced as his murderer. Everyone in Cartesio knows that.
Although life goes on, it seems the town of Cartesio isn't going to forget the tourists' transgressions. Not only they commited larceny in the cinema, they also murdered and executed in their town! It's no surprise their hospitality towards the visitors has cooled down considerably.
Not only they're maintaining a tense cordiality with them, they also have started talking behind the visitors' backs. All kinds of rumors are starting to sprout, yet nobody seems to be willing to say it to the tourists' faces. Talking directly to most passerby makes them distrustful, and nobody seems to want to be in close quarters alone with them.
It's only matter of time before the relationship between tourists and Cartesio starts degrading even further.
In the lobby of the motel there's a few more brochures, and
the maps have been updated once again.

When she stops by the motel lobby to destroy another guestbook (this time just tearing it in half), it's a relief to see the new maps and the new locations that come with it. Exploring will give her something to do.
And explore she does, starting with the chapel. She isn't particularly religious herself, but her understanding is that Sunday tends to be when places like this are active, so it seems like a good time to find someone who can explain things. And if not, she'll just do some exploring on her own.
Later she heads for the tavern again and, ignoring the looks she gets from the other patrons, starts playing around with the pool table. This makes a better distraction, mostly because she doesn't have a clue what she's doing. It takes her a few tries to not hit the cueball so hard it flies across the room. After a while, though, she decides she's had enough practice, and she'll quickly move to intercept anyone who makes the mistake of coming near her.]
Want to play?

[Yes, you're the only fool who'd just walk right through without a care in the world.]
Alright. I have time for a game or two~
[Never mind being useful today. A break is fine.]

Olympia offers him a cuestick.]
Have you played before?

[He seems comfortable enough holding the cuestick anyway.]
Although the bar I used to frequent never had a nice table like this.

Yes, the craftmanship seems good. The surfaces are smooth, and the ball collection mechanism is well-designed.

[There are a few people here, he thinks, that may not have ever had an opportunity; Olympia included.
...at least it's not because he watched her earlier attempts, but rather his deductive reasoning.]

[Surely screwing around on her own counts as playing.]

After weighing her options, she approaches a small group that has a few children in it, reasoning that the adults won't want to get into a fight in front of their kids, and tries to subtly insert herself into the conversation and satisfy her curiosity.]
Excuse me. May I ask you about this place?

What exactly would you like to know? It's our town chapel.

We could start with who that person is. [She gestures to the huge statue that Katsuki may or may not have already vandalized.] It must be obvious to you, if he's so important, but I don't know what your beliefs are here.

Is that strange? I've traveled a long way to get here, after all.

[She... sort of understands.]
If it's that complex, is there something I could study?

[ Maybe if these tourists find religion-- no, no that's too mean a thought. ]

[Next week: Olympia goes to church!]

This man's the priest. He can help you. [ The man nods, and gestures for Olympia to follow him, into the chapel. Proceed? ]

Thank you.

But the priest seems completely cordial. ]
You're quite welcome. Anyone who's interested in learning, I won't turn away.
