WEEK 3: April 15th - April 19th

Third Week

The peaceful times are over. Moloch von Zinzer was murdered, and Nine was sentenced as his murderer. Everyone in Cartesio knows that.

Although life goes on, it seems the town of Cartesio isn't going to forget the tourists' transgressions. Not only they commited larceny in the cinema, they also murdered and executed in their town! It's no surprise their hospitality towards the visitors has cooled down considerably.

Not only they're maintaining a tense cordiality with them, they also have started talking behind the visitors' backs. All kinds of rumors are starting to sprout, yet nobody seems to be willing to say it to the tourists' faces. Talking directly to most passerby makes them distrustful, and nobody seems to want to be in close quarters alone with them.

It's only matter of time before the relationship between tourists and Cartesio starts degrading even further.

In the lobby of the motel there's a few more brochures, and the maps have been updated once again.

[ At some point, the blond comes and looks for the other man, and slams own his gathering of food on the table, barely managing to spill it everywhere. ]

Still able to eat after all of that, huh?

Yeah.

[ he nods, continuing to eat. in all honesty, oda's biggest concerned was getting served at all, after that. ]

Looks like you got a strong stomach, too.

Can't skip a meal just because someone died.

[ But he thought it might've been different for Oda since he saw him kill Nine. Then again, he did volunteer.

There's a pause before he looks Oda in the eyes, and speaks what's on his mind. ]

It doesn't look like it affected you at all, though. Fucking putting a bullet in someone's head like that.

[odasaku]

He died as painlessly as I could manage. Not that it should make it any better.

[ it was that or the electric chair, bakugou ]

And this is something I'm kinda used to.

Then it is lucky Clarisse didn't get her fucking mitts on him.

[ And then there was Kino, who was his age. Maybe it was good Oda volunteered after all, but the thought is...it's still kind of messed up.

Not to mention Oda says it's something he's used to, but Bakugou saw his profile and it looked absolutely contradictory. Then again, nothing had to ever really add up perfectly. ]

Used to it because you're 'mafia', huh?

[odasaku]

Not 'cause I'm mafia. I never killed in the mafia.

[ as surprising as that might be for bakugou to hear, oda says it simply. and the following words are said just as plainly, as if talking about the weather. ]

I'm used to it 'cause I was an assassin.

[kingbomber]

[ That...is particularly surprising for the blond to hear -- he'd assume the guy had killed because he was in the mafia.

He's never going to get used to people speaking about this so plainly, though, jeez. ]

An assassin? Shit, that does explain a lot.

[ ... ]

You decided it wasn't worth it anymore? Since you obviously aren't one anymore.
