WEEK 3: April 15th - April 19th

Third Week

The peaceful times are over. Moloch von Zinzer was murdered, and Nine was sentenced as his murderer. Everyone in Cartesio knows that.

Although life goes on, it seems the town of Cartesio isn't going to forget the tourists' transgressions. Not only they commited larceny in the cinema, they also murdered and executed in their town! It's no surprise their hospitality towards the visitors has cooled down considerably.

Not only they're maintaining a tense cordiality with them, they also have started talking behind the visitors' backs. All kinds of rumors are starting to sprout, yet nobody seems to be willing to say it to the tourists' faces. Talking directly to most passerby makes them distrustful, and nobody seems to want to be in close quarters alone with them.

It's only matter of time before the relationship between tourists and Cartesio starts degrading even further.

In the lobby of the motel there's a few more brochures, and the maps have been updated once again.

[The cars are an integral part of it, otherwise you're just watching a movie outdoors. There's not as strong a sense of everyone coming together without the swarms of automobiles with people sat inside and out of them.

He thinks for a moment, then has a thought.]

Plenty of cars in the junkyard.

[ That's true. Pretty hard to not be aware of them after last Friday, but thaaaat's a thought Cian would rather not pursue. ]

Do you think we can get them out of the junkyard though? I don't think the location exactly radiates calming aura as is.

That's half the appeal.

[Partly kidding. Gotta keep the weirdo persona up and all.]

We could always get people to push them. There's enough muscle here.

... well, we already have a reputation for doing weird things around town, so why not?

[ Mentally she's already checking who she could ask for this. Deep down, she knows this is an absolutely ridiculous project and yet... it keeps her distracted to try and do something. ]

How many cars do you think are needed?

[There's a small grin.]

[He takes a moment to think, doing the math in his head - which isn't his strongest suit. You could probably fit two people to a car, even though they had some loner types around here who wouldn't want to sit with anyone...]

Fourteen? Or...less. Depending on when you get it set up.

[Unfortunately we must account for murder here.]

F-fourteen... I wonder if we have the space and manpower for that...

[ She thinks four already sounds challenging....... ]

You could half it if people didn't mind getting a little cosy.

That seems to be... a lot asked with this group. Though I can't see a lot of the people here wanting to attend to start with, which will also cut out numbers...

[ So ironically loner mentality is helpful for group projects for once?? ]

So that settles cars... we'll have to see about the actual films.

Once we know where to find them, you can leave that to me.

[He’s even beginning to plot out the schedule now.]

And since you did go to a cinema before... there must be some way to obtain them. I'll try and find something to use as a screen already.

[ Is this really a project she should be taking seriously? No. Is she going to dive in head-first? Yes. ]

Maybe I can work my connections to see what I can get.

[He lightly taps his nose with a forefinger before it falls into pointing at Cian. She doesn't have know that his "connections" mean "the people who work at the diner".]
