WEEK 3: April 15th - April 19th

Third Week

The peaceful times are over. Moloch von Zinzer was murdered, and Nine was sentenced as his murderer. Everyone in Cartesio knows that.

Although life goes on, it seems the town of Cartesio isn't going to forget the tourists' transgressions. Not only they commited larceny in the cinema, they also murdered and executed in their town! It's no surprise their hospitality towards the visitors has cooled down considerably.

Not only they're maintaining a tense cordiality with them, they also have started talking behind the visitors' backs. All kinds of rumors are starting to sprout, yet nobody seems to be willing to say it to the tourists' faces. Talking directly to most passerby makes them distrustful, and nobody seems to want to be in close quarters alone with them.

It's only matter of time before the relationship between tourists and Cartesio starts degrading even further.

In the lobby of the motel there's a few more brochures, and the maps have been updated once again.

Re: Clothing store

I've worn things in light blue before... [ Costumes, mostly. But there are some things in her... normal closet in that shade. ] But you really think so?

There's quite a few colors that would fit you, but I thought you might want help narrowing it down first.

[clearities]

Mm... [ Sakura hums to herself, a little contemplative as she taps her chin as she sifts through the hangars before finding a dress (sans the wings, naturally) as she shows it to him. ] What about this one? [ She sounds... really enthusiastic? ]

[silvertongueheir]

The snowflake motif could stand to be more subtle... [There's a pause as he seems to consider.] Still, if you prefer that style, it certainly looks like it would fit you.

[clearities]

They look more like flowers than snowflakes, I think. [ On the dress, anyway. But she doesn't think it's too bad-- it's in fact very cute? Maybe her idea of 'cute' is skewed due to the costumes that Tomoyo has put her in. ] I'll go try it on, then! [...] Is there a dressing room in here?

[silvertongueheir]

I think there are. [A pause as he considers.] They may require cleaning first, I suspect. Or at least a tarp of some sort so your clothes don't get dusty while changing.

[clearities]

... [ She mulls it over for a second in her head before a proverbial lightbulb pops up-- a good idea. ] Oh! Maybe we could clean this whole place up, then! If we do that, then maybe the people in the town will be really happy!

[silvertongueheir]

That does sound like a plan. Perhaps they won't be so dismissive of us searching for clothes here if we do so.

[clearities]

Mmhm! It'll help both us and them.

[silvertongueheir]

[A nod.] I think I shall ask around to see if anyone else is interested in helping. As well as start organizing the clothing stocks better. This is not the best method of storage for them, after all.

[clearities]

I think that maybe we should also try hand washing the clothes, too! Since they might be a little dusty from sitting here for a long time.

[silvertongueheir]

[He nods, humming a little.] I suppose the clothes racks can double as drying racks, in that case.
