WEEK 3: April 15th - April 19th

Third Week

The peaceful times are over. Moloch von Zinzer was murdered, and Nine was sentenced as his murderer. Everyone in Cartesio knows that.

Although life goes on, it seems the town of Cartesio isn't going to forget the tourists' transgressions. Not only they commited larceny in the cinema, they also murdered and executed in their town! It's no surprise their hospitality towards the visitors has cooled down considerably.

Not only they're maintaining a tense cordiality with them, they also have started talking behind the visitors' backs. All kinds of rumors are starting to sprout, yet nobody seems to be willing to say it to the tourists' faces. Talking directly to most passerby makes them distrustful, and nobody seems to want to be in close quarters alone with them.

It's only matter of time before the relationship between tourists and Cartesio starts degrading even further.

In the lobby of the motel there's a few more brochures, and the maps have been updated once again.

I won't stay here too long. [ She doesn't really want to, since she's a little scared herself. ] I think... there's nobody here, though.

[he'll stay with her, because he doesn't like the idea of Sakura being here alone]

Sure looks that way. [the atmosphere is super dead. haha, best not make that joke aloud] But, hey, maybe that just means the spirits are sleeping.

[clearities]

Or maybe they're all in the sky... I'd usually be able to sense them, too. I don't sense anything.

[relieable]

Is that 'cause you don't have your staff?

[clearities]

I don't need my staff to sense things. I can sense the magic from the others here, still.

[relieable]

[ah... Sakura must be really powerful]

That's amazing. The only thing I can sense is when my brothers are hiding their winnings from me.

[clearities]

[ The plot of Clear Card is that Sakura gets too powerful and accidentally causes trouble, so. Yes. ]

I think that's amazing, too, though! I could never do that.

[relieable]

[he probably shouldn't have said that out loud but... whatever. it's out there, now. and he chuckles]

In any case, I'm glad that a magical girl is on our side. As soon as you get your staff back, you'll have t'see if you're able to use that card.

[clearities]

I'm definitely going to. I want to help out as much as I can, after all!

[relieable]

Yeah, me too... I haven't been doin' much but... I'm not sure what else I could do. I don't have any special powers.

[clearities]

It's okay. You don't need to have powers to help people out. You can just... be there for them, and support them.

[relieable]

[ah... Osomatsu's never really supported anyone, at least not back at home. but he nods at her anyway, giving her a soft smile]

That's... that's a good idea. Thanks, Sakura-chan.

[clearities]

You're welcome. Um... you've supported me a lot, so I'd like to thank you, too.

[relieable]

[oh. he wasn't expecting that. but then he thinks back on the, uh... the trial. so the surprise on his face melts away, and he shakes his head]

It's nothing. You're... [someone whom he deems worth protecting] Special. So I wanna have your back.

[clearities]

I don't really think I'm all that special, [ she comments a little lightly her smile unfading ] but I appreciate it a lot, Osomatsu-san. Really.

[relieable]

[it's okay. he thinks Sakura, along with lots of the other visitors are special. he nods, leaving it at that]

What do ya say we get outta this place an' go find a snack, huh? [let's leave the spooky graveyard]

[clearities]

Y-- yeah, let's go. [ Anywhere else would be better than this place right now. ]
