WEEK 3: April 15th - April 19th

Third Week

The peaceful times are over. Moloch von Zinzer was murdered, and Nine was sentenced as his murderer. Everyone in Cartesio knows that.

Although life goes on, it seems the town of Cartesio isn't going to forget the tourists' transgressions. Not only they commited larceny in the cinema, they also murdered and executed in their town! It's no surprise their hospitality towards the visitors has cooled down considerably.

Not only they're maintaining a tense cordiality with them, they also have started talking behind the visitors' backs. All kinds of rumors are starting to sprout, yet nobody seems to be willing to say it to the tourists' faces. Talking directly to most passerby makes them distrustful, and nobody seems to want to be in close quarters alone with them.

It's only matter of time before the relationship between tourists and Cartesio starts degrading even further.

In the lobby of the motel there's a few more brochures, and the maps have been updated once again.

Can you do it somewhere else? Go - [He holds a hand out to the opposite direction of where they're assembling the drive in.] - terrorize the commonfolk. Take your frustrations out on inanimate objects.

[pretending like she can't hear her :)]

[Well if she's so inattentive, obviously she won't notice if Olympia starts pushing the car in a different direction than before.]

[she doesn't actually care. like she'll get up and find another car to sit on but if you want to undo the hard work in getting the car this far and inconvenience everyone else then be her guest!!!]

[Sorry Olympia but Jughead is now also getting onto the hood of that car. Trying to stand there instead of sit down.]

Everyone is trying to do something great here.

[The only time he’ll ever say that kind of thing sincerely.]

Trying to set up exactly what we need to deal with all this. [He just holds up a hand into the empty air. You get his meaning.] And you’re just driving another nail into the coffin of communal cinema. Of the American dream. Of one of the few releases from this hell of a world.

[snideper]

[ohohoHO there is SHIT TO BE STARTED and as soon as Jughead starts climbing up, Clarisse stands, her bow in her hand—she's up on the roof rather than the hood and quite enjoying her vantage point here.]

Seems like a real flimsy dream if one girl taking one seat is gonna ruin it for everyone. What a waste of effort.

Famously so.

[Jughead’s eyes flick to the bow. He knows that Clarisse would be stupid to shoot him here; everyone can watch, and would see it as a murder attempt. If its not fatal, maybe they’ll all get to watch her do community service after serving some time. If it is, at least he’ll take her down with him. Or something.]

You’re an obstruction. [Besides, the bow...] Sitting isn’t all you’re going to do, is it?

[snideper]

You gonna give me a reason to do something else?

[listen. she's absolutely not above shooting jughead here.]

[He folds his arms.]

Any. Take your pick.

[he’s not about to punch her he’s more the kind to rise to meet aggression. Part of his edgy loner personality.]

[snideper]

[makes a show of glancing around this way and that, honestly to make sure Olympia isn't bringing the car anywhere especially annoying for her if she's still at it—but look this is undoing the work of bringing the car there in the first place, and she's inconveniencing Jughead so she's content enough—and then shrugs.]

[Takes a step forward, lightly placing his foot on the windshield.]

You’re not.

[snideper]

[ohohoHOHOHOHOHO, YES, THIS LOOKS LIKE TROUBLE AND SHE'S LIVING FOR IT

Without looking away from him, she sets her bow on her back with her quiver, reaches her other hand back towards a pouch at her waist.]

This is your breaking point, huh? [a scoff, but she's grinning] Try me.

[carbide]

[While all this stupidity is going on, Olympia has been pushing the car toward a pile of heavy things, in the hopes that they'll coincidentally fall on top of the car and kill Clarisse (and Jughead, but that's a sacrifice she's willing to make, needs of the many and all that) without anyone getting executed for it.

This doesn't stop happening, but Olympia is suddenly paying a lot more attention to Clarisse. Too bad this is a car and not a giant bucket of popcorn.]

[burgerprince]

It's not my breaking point.

[He sounds kind of mad that Clarisse suggested that he's mad.]

I'm just done with this.

[Takes another step...]
