The peaceful times are over. Moloch von Zinzer was murdered, and Nine was sentenced as his murderer. Everyone in Cartesio knows that.
Although life goes on, it seems the town of Cartesio isn't going to forget the tourists' transgressions. Not only they commited larceny in the cinema, they also murdered and executed in their town! It's no surprise their hospitality towards the visitors has cooled down considerably.
Not only they're maintaining a tense cordiality with them, they also have started talking behind the visitors' backs. All kinds of rumors are starting to sprout, yet nobody seems to be willing to say it to the tourists' faces. Talking directly to most passerby makes them distrustful, and nobody seems to want to be in close quarters alone with them.
It's only matter of time before the relationship between tourists and Cartesio starts degrading even further.
In the lobby of the motel there's a few more brochures, and
the maps have been updated once again.

Don't talk about yourself like that. I'm not great at 'em, either, but anything's better than nothin', here, right?

[ To be honest, it's a little strange; she's usually never this hard on herself, but lately, to her, she can't help it. All of it is too difficult for her. There's too much of a burden to carry.
But she works out a small smile in spite of it all. ]
You're right. Although... we can't just think the worst things, either. Then he'll really get to us.
as we lead into CS2 spoilers
[Millium sighs, putting her hands behind her head and lacing her fingers.]
...Man. Every time something like this happens, all I can think of is what Crow said, but I wonder if he had any idea how hard that was really gonna be...

and here we go
[She closes her eyes.]
"You're all going to be in for some tough times ahead. I can't go any farther now, but you can, so keep going forward. Relentlessly, without looking back."
...I don't think he knew just how hard it was gonna be.

[ Sakura is quiet for quite some time, listening to her words and it's pretty difficult to take in. But at the same time, there's something valuable about the words themselves, too. ]
Maybe he didn't, but... I think he said that because he cared about you, and the others with you. And I think Crow-san is right. I might not know him, and I'll never get to meet him, but I think we can at least try. And... I think the most important part is that even though it's hard. We're not alone in facing these difficult things. We can do this together.

That's how we even got as far as we did at all, even if... that happened at the end of it.
[She sighs.]
But... yeah. Together. We just gotta keep pushing forward. If we don't, he wins.

I promised that I wouldn't just simply just choose the options that he... put out for me. There has to be some other way. A third choice, that will help everyone.

When you say things like that, you kinda sound like Rean...
[She smiles, though. It's comforting.]
If you can find something like that, though, I'll help you out if I can.

[ She blinks a little, tilting her head in confusion. Does she really sounds a bit like him? ]
I'll try my best. If you find something too, I'll do the same.

That's why we did what we did during the civil war. Neither of the options were good, so we just... made our own.

I really hope that we can make those decisions for ourselves. Instead of choose between what he has to offer us.
