WEEK 3: April 15th - April 19th

Third Week

The peaceful times are over. Moloch von Zinzer was murdered, and Nine was sentenced as his murderer. Everyone in Cartesio knows that.

Although life goes on, it seems the town of Cartesio isn't going to forget the tourists' transgressions. Not only they commited larceny in the cinema, they also murdered and executed in their town! It's no surprise their hospitality towards the visitors has cooled down considerably.

Not only they're maintaining a tense cordiality with them, they also have started talking behind the visitors' backs. All kinds of rumors are starting to sprout, yet nobody seems to be willing to say it to the tourists' faces. Talking directly to most passerby makes them distrustful, and nobody seems to want to be in close quarters alone with them.

It's only matter of time before the relationship between tourists and Cartesio starts degrading even further.

In the lobby of the motel there's a few more brochures, and the maps have been updated once again.

Millium sputters inelegantly when the water hits her face, flailing her hands in front of her in a lame attempt to stop it and stepping back.]

H-heyyy! Bakky...!

[But the distraction attempt seems to have worked, because she's now diving for the lake to splash water up at him.]

I'll let you know if I come up with a better one that's shitty enough for him.

[ Oh look, an agreement...

Bakugou actually freaking snorts at her attempt. Nice.

And then he gets water splashed right on him. He's not going to take this lying down, even if it was his idea to get this started in the first place. ]

... You really wanna go up against me like this?

[ Now he's suddenly in the lake proper kicking water right at her. Whatever, no one else will see them playing around in the lake, it's fine. ]

You bet I do! Bring it on!

[They're both going to be soaked by the end of this, because Millium is charging right in after him, kicking water right back. Hopefully, Bakugou doesn't try to cause an explosion in the lake or something stupid like that, and being soaked is all that's going to happen today.

No one will see them – Bakugou's fragile masculinity and dignity are safe. But for at least a moment, this allows them to both be themselves. Not a hero-in-training or a spy, but children.]
