Week 3: Investigation

This week's cloudy, dreary weather culminates in a thunderstorm, lasting most of the previous night. That means when you awake this morning, the town is damp and dark. It's not just the weather that gives off an oppressive feeling, though. The air, it's heavy.

The Sergeant told you, after all. This is your last day to prevent your deepest, darkest secrets from being revealed.

There's no immediate evidence that anyone's followed his orders, though. Maybe you'll get through this week without anymore unnecessary death.

Or, maybe not. Maybe you should take a look around town, just to be sure.

[Is this one big rubble fest or is there anything notable to be seen?]

[ Well, there's a lot notable, and it's less a rubble fest as it is a destroyed pews, shattered glass, broken candles...fest. Particularly, that Jesus statue? It's completely blown to smithereens. Watch your feet, ceramic is everywhere. ]

[Yeah that’s the guy. Any blood near JC?]

[ Strangely? No. ]

Well, Jesus can’t be the only murder victim here. Gonna check out that altar and pews for bodies.]

[ The altar's just a memory, but there are some pews intact. Looking around and under them will yield nothing more than debris, though. ]

[Right well he’s going to wherever Kino ran off to because he’s not being left alone with half these people.]

[ That's probably a smart idea. ]

[Olympia's showing up late to the party, but it certainly doesn't take her long to notice this, at least.]
