So before everyone can leave, Niwatori raises her voice louder than it's gone before now to draw a little attention, and then deflates immediately when she actually gets it.]

Excuse me, please! U-um... this case was really hard, and I think we could all use some time to cool our heads before we finally go back. So... ice cream? Who's with me?

[she'll lead the pack there and anyone else can go home or to visit Clarisse on the set of Orange is the new Black.

Niwa's not that good of a host though, she just gets her own ice cream and lets everyone serve themselves. Who is she to limit your freedom. (Someone who doesn't want to be partly responsible for a Millium Monstrosity, that's who.)]

[This IS fine, Niwa is honestly more tired and stressed from being in the trial so long as opposed to any human ties. So she feels comfortable approaching the fine Kino with curiosity.]

It's called "blue moon" - it's really sugary.

But I just liked the color. I don't know if it's supposed to taste like anything.

I assume it doesn't taste like cheese, at least? There's this folk tale about a wolf that sees the moon in a pool of water and tries to drink it all to get the cheese. A fox tricked him into thinking he'd have endless food or something like that... though I don't remember how the story ends, ehehe.

[with that much water you might presume drowning, though. She takes a bite of her makeshift parfait.]

It doesn't taste anything like cheese, though. Sort of... fruity, but fake, I think.

Think the story's Western actually. There are all kinds of tales about tricksters and fools, but this one's about a foolish canine, so I think it's fun... do you like this kind of thing?

And I do. Stories like that can say things about a country's culture, so I suppose you could say they're an interest of mine.

[Granted, Kino usually focuses more on the actual, physical aspects of the country a bit more, but. Not going to get any opportunities like that anytime soon, if the Sergeant has his way.]
