Fifth Week

Everything's getting worse. Rose Nylund and Frasier Crane murdered Jughead Jones during the event Jughead worked so hard to organize. Given some of the townspeople were in attendance, it didn't give a good impression -- if the visitors did this when trying to be good people and get along with Cartesio, then how will they behave once they get into destroying everything? The cruel method of Jughead's death also left everyone quite horrified, too.

That may be why it's no surprise the town's quiet unrest is slowly turning into real, tangible fury.

During the week, from time to time stones break some of the windows of the motel, looking outside shows a random passerby running away. Graffiti is left on the walls: 'SEE IF YOU LIKE THIS' 'MURDERERS' 'YOU'RE GOING TO DESTROY US ALL', and other similar messages. Some of the store owners hesitate when the visitors approach, but they don't refuse service because money is always nice.

The Sergeant's pervasive influence is starting to cover not only you, but also the entire town of Cartesio. After all, everything that's happening to you and the motel? It's the result of what you and the other visitors have done.

In the lobby of the motel there's a few more brochures, and the maps have been updated once again.

[Perhaps unsurprisingly, the door remains closed shut. Hm. That's...okay?

Maybe it'll go better once the fire starts]

[Kino will follow a bit... towards the pipes.

Can she tell what kinds of pipes they are? Specifically what they might contain.]

[These are water pipes]

[Greaaaaaaat. He'll just make his way back to the kitchen, looking thoroughly underwhelmed.]

Still locked inside.

[A beat.]

Gonna guess it'll open up after we start that fire.

[A beat.

I don't think we have to burn this place down. We can all sleep here and get arrested for breaking and entering in the morning.

Not everyone wants to be arrested. I generally tend to make it a goal to not get arrested, even.

[Hawks job techinically involves being the one to make arrests, even.]

Are we trying to stop pissing off the townsfolk or not?

I'm just pointing out that we don't actually hae to do what the Sergeant wants.

I don't wanna do what he wants, either! [he's just going to join the non-burning things group over here... he's all for chaos but, damn]

[There seems to be some sort of sensors high on the wall. What they do isn't clear, but they seem to be connected to the doors itself.

Old heat sensors for the air, perhaps?]

[ While everyone is yelling over the microwave, Dabi's just gonna chuck a fireball at this sensor. ]

[cartesio]

[The fireball impacts against the sensor. It beeps, reacting to the fire. Come on, Dabi, keep going at it! As much fire as you can!]

[ Are you seriously asking this man to use more fire. That's not a problem cause even if he can't create a plume this large in here (you're welcome everyone), he'll just activate his quirk all over his body. And duel chucking fireballs is a go too while he's also a literal pillar of fire. ]

[cartesio]

[Between the growing fire on the kitchen and Dabi's fire, the air heats enough to actually be sensed. The doors are opening!]
