Everything's getting worse. Rose Nylund and Frasier Crane murdered Jughead Jones during the event Jughead worked so hard to organize. Given some of the townspeople were in attendance, it didn't give a good impression -- if the visitors did this when trying to be good people and get along with Cartesio, then how will they behave once they get into destroying everything? The cruel method of Jughead's death also left everyone quite horrified, too.
That may be why it's no surprise the town's quiet unrest is slowly turning into real, tangible fury.
During the week, from time to time stones break some of the windows of the motel, looking outside shows a random passerby running away. Graffiti is left on the walls: 'SEE IF YOU LIKE THIS' 'MURDERERS' 'YOU'RE GOING TO DESTROY US ALL', and other similar messages. Some of the store owners hesitate when the visitors approach, but they don't refuse service because money is always nice.
The Sergeant's pervasive influence is starting to cover not only you, but also the entire town of Cartesio. After all, everything that's happening to you and the motel? It's the result of what you and the other visitors have done.
In the lobby of the motel there's a few more brochures, and
the maps have been updated once again.

WEDNESDAY - May 2nd
NEWSPAPER
In a rare occurrence, several of our residents have spoken in defense of the visitors.
During a routine poll to find out the current opinion of the residents of Cartesio -- 73% have a negative opinion of the tourists' actions -- some of our newer residents have said they believe there must be something else going on. "A group of people don't just come to a town and start causing trouble for no reason" our apprentice baker Luthier commented.
When inquired about the leniency he showed two weeks ago, Rean Schwarzer asserted the following: "I know one of them, I know Millium isn't a mastermind in charge of everything that's happening here. Her mouth may be the biggest threat to the national security of Erebonia, but she'd never plot something like this". Similar thoughts were echoed by Mr. Velvet. "I know Sakura. I'd sooner believe we're having the wool pulled over our eyes than think she's defacing buildings or killing anyone"
In general, the opinions of several of them is of cautious optimism towards the visitors, although this opinion isn't without conditions: "Murders aside, they haven't caused lasting damage. It's annoying, not malicious. Until they do something truly outrageous, I'm not going to ostracize them" said Serph, digging in the junkyard.
Curiously, Axel from the fire station wasn't able to be reached for comment. It could be related to the recent destruction of his console.
Are their opinions misguided, or could they be seeing something the rest of us don't? Only time will tell.]

[Anyone wandering in will hear cheerful humming coming from over by the microwave. It's undoubtedly easy to spot where it's coming from – it's not like there are too many people with bright blue hair running around Cartesio, as their journalist "friend" smartly pointed out.
She's standing with her hands clasped behind her back in front of the microwave, rocking back and forth on her heels as she waits. The microwave contains a single mug, the contents of which are bubbling rather disconcertingly.
What is she trying to make...?]

[Perhaps inspired by Franciscus, Millium is over by the mural, hamfisting some crayons against the paper.
It's crude, certainly – it's likely a 5 year old could do better, but since when has Millium had a chance to learn to draw? – but after a bit, Millium steps back, admiring her masterpiece.]

EVENT
...Darkness. You're definitely somewhere. Inside? There's no wind, just the steady sound of a ceiling fan, swinging around and around. However, the thick fog may confuse the senses. How big is this place? How many of the others are in here? You can't see.
It seems you have to find a way out. ]
