Everything's getting worse. Rose Nylund and Frasier Crane murdered Jughead Jones during the event Jughead worked so hard to organize. Given some of the townspeople were in attendance, it didn't give a good impression -- if the visitors did this when trying to be good people and get along with Cartesio, then how will they behave once they get into destroying everything? The cruel method of Jughead's death also left everyone quite horrified, too.
That may be why it's no surprise the town's quiet unrest is slowly turning into real, tangible fury.
During the week, from time to time stones break some of the windows of the motel, looking outside shows a random passerby running away. Graffiti is left on the walls: 'SEE IF YOU LIKE THIS' 'MURDERERS' 'YOU'RE GOING TO DESTROY US ALL', and other similar messages. Some of the store owners hesitate when the visitors approach, but they don't refuse service because money is always nice.
The Sergeant's pervasive influence is starting to cover not only you, but also the entire town of Cartesio. After all, everything that's happening to you and the motel? It's the result of what you and the other visitors have done.
In the lobby of the motel there's a few more brochures, and
the maps have been updated once again.

Almost unnaturally, like something else is feeding into it, the fire creeps through the floor, through the tiles, reaching the walls and counter.
Out in the sitting area, the doors creak, slowly parting open. Better get out of there before the fire spreads too quickly to get away!]

It's a peaceful night, interrupted only by the sound of fire. Behind you, the fire is starting to be seen through the windows. Left alone, it spread, covering the entirety of the kitchen and starting to get into the sitting area, feeding onto the wooden counter, onto the seats.
No firemen in sight. No firetruck, or anyone noticing there's a growing fire here. In what's bound to be taken as a rather cruel move towards someone who had always supported the visitors through thick and thin, the Sergeant has made his move.
Mrs. Mitchell's diner is burning down. Arson has been committed.

[ She's so upset but also angry the moment she manages to get outside, falling onto her knees, and just crying. Sakura hates this and she's a mixture of emotions-- angry, upset, and torn.
It doesn't matter that she's going to stay close to the fire in spite of it all. Because she knew it.
She knew this wasn't going to end well, and she hates this, she hates all of it and she couldn't do a single thing to stop the fire herself.
Sakura feels so utterly useless in this very moment and it's going to be hard to usher her away from here as the fire burns in the diner. ]

And earth is actually quite effective at smothering fire, all things considered. Dirt, earth, it all falls inside, over the fire.
You may actually manage to stop it from spreading over the entire place! The kitchen seems unsalvageable, and part of the sitting area is falling apart, but at least the infrastructure seems like it'll be okay!]

There just aren't a whole lot of things running through his mind as he works on putting out the flames in the kitchen. It's hard to breathe from all the smoke, hard to see, but it's all under control. Getting there anyway.
Until a jet of blue flames sets a corner of the kitchen ablaze again, and this time Keith's focus wavers and he can only stare at this with a sense of despair. It's a feeling that he doesn't have time for, but all the same ... what are they doing here?< What's he doing here? Not the time. Keith shakes himself out of it, coughing.]

he's already earthbending, so when dabi sends a few streams of blue fire at the already burning diner, bolin is responding in in kind by sending a rock right at dabi's head

There's the temptation to just run at Bolin and turn this into a full fight, but he's not stupid. So instead Dabi just waves like an asshole and sends one more jet of blue fire at the kitchen area. Good luck putting that room out. And he's gonna make to leave for real now. ]
