Everything's getting worse. Rose Nylund and Frasier Crane murdered Jughead Jones during the event Jughead worked so hard to organize. Given some of the townspeople were in attendance, it didn't give a good impression -- if the visitors did this when trying to be good people and get along with Cartesio, then how will they behave once they get into destroying everything? The cruel method of Jughead's death also left everyone quite horrified, too.
That may be why it's no surprise the town's quiet unrest is slowly turning into real, tangible fury.
During the week, from time to time stones break some of the windows of the motel, looking outside shows a random passerby running away. Graffiti is left on the walls: 'SEE IF YOU LIKE THIS' 'MURDERERS' 'YOU'RE GOING TO DESTROY US ALL', and other similar messages. Some of the store owners hesitate when the visitors approach, but they don't refuse service because money is always nice.
The Sergeant's pervasive influence is starting to cover not only you, but also the entire town of Cartesio. After all, everything that's happening to you and the motel? It's the result of what you and the other visitors have done.
In the lobby of the motel there's a few more brochures, and
the maps have been updated once again.

But okay! At the end of it, Millium has one (1) questionable-looking crane.]
There! I did it!
[The lopsided crane that she holds out proudly flops over to one side impassively.]

But that's what practice is for, right?
[Practice and some measure of patience and care, Millium...]

Thanks, Sakura-chan.

It's no problem, really. Um, if there's anything else you want to talk about, I don't mind talking about it.

...Shouldn't it be the other way around? You seemed a lot more shaken up about everythin' than I am.

[She leans back, resting on her hands.]
I mean... on my end, I guess I'm just kinda havin' to see for the first time what the kinds o' things I do do to, y'know, regular people. Folks like Mrs. Mitchell, who didn't deserve nothin' like this.
Before now, I was thinkin' that when we got outta here, I'd just be goin' back home with Rean n' Her Highness and we'd just try t'go back to normal, but now...
[She worries her lip a little, trying to figure out what she wants to say.]
I think... I can't go back to Erebonia. At least, not right away. 'Cause I dunno if I can do my job anymore, the way I am now. And I definitely can't force Rean t' do his.
He n' Jusis might be a little sad without me for a while, but... I wanna get stronger. I wanna find a third way. [Who knows what the first two are, but the term seems important to her.] So that when I come back, I can help them both instead of keepin' up the status quo.
