Week 5: Investigation

You wake to the heat breaking in the morning. It's actually morning, bright. Sunny. Probably all of you are pleased to have gotten through the night with sleep, or at least with no sudden gunshots and impromptu investigation.

Cherish that brief bliss. Enjoy your morning routine, as long as it's in the motel. Once you leave the motel, you see, it's obvious something awful's happened again. Someone has taken the Sergeant's bait.

Because, right outside the very door of the building you sleep in, there's a broken body to greet you.

Back to the body- is there anything else to notice with her clothes? Anything to be looted??]

[Looting corpse time! The result is...nothing to take. That's too bad.

Careful when searching through her clothes, because something's going on. Kino may notice a peach-colored substance stuck to her fingers at some point. Hm! Any idea where it may have come from? Doesn't seem to be the clothes!]

[Kino will very carefully lift her hand to see what that substance is. She knows nothing about makeup. Does it smell like anything, what's the consistency like?]

[It's a bit creamy, peach-colored, and definitely smells like makeup.

Some examination of the body will show where exactly it came from: her hands. And also her face has some, too]

[Oh, okay. Makeup. Definitely not Kino's area of expertise.

Anything else to note with the corpse?]

[Nope. You're done with the corpse.

Before you leave, would you like to check the nearby areas with a bit more of detail?]

[She sure will! And she'll take over some things from Natalie as well to keep this going.]

[The last thing that may be worth something is a rock, not too far from where Azura was found. A nice, sizable rock...with blood on it]

[That matches the back of the head, yes?]

[If Kino takes the rock to compare, she'll find out it's a match indeed]
