[Another week draws to a close, but as more culprits are led away, something is different all the same. After this particular trial, perhaps it's not a surprise that there's no note or offer to meet in a specific place tonight. Can any of them say they have any energy or desire to do something like that at a time like this? The place they regrouped last Saturday evening stands there, burned nearly beyond recognition, and the townspeople look at them with the distrust that's been steadily building. Not to mention... Those are the least of the losses they've faced in the last few days.

Of course, even as so much changes day by day, the town remains, with plenty of places for people to go if they don't want to stay inside the motel. Where can you be found tonight?]

[he glances down for a moment, then takes a few steps forward, so that he's closer to the cell]

Yeah, I'd think so, too, but here I am. [it's weird. he's in this state between being angry and sad, and he hates it, because he tries to stay positive whenever he can] Guess I wanted t'ask you... how you wanna go.

[one shot, huh? Osomatsu thinks about what Kino said to him. he still doesn't know if he'll use a gun, because his hands would be so shaky. they're shaking now]

[he nods, swallowing thickly. fast. he could do fast, right? he told Natalie that he would]

[Osomatsu doesn't know if he should be giving Franciscus a mercy-kill, knowing why he killed Azura. but he'll do what he can. he pulls his hand away from the bar, wondering what else he should say, if he has anything else to say. what would happen to Franciscus' pokémon now? what about his teammates back at home? why did it have to come to this?

finally, after a long moment of just standing there, he lifts his head, eyes glassy]

You know. If you get another chance on the other side... If there's a way... let me know how to get rid of Sarge.

[After a while, he turns around, letting Osomatsu see his face. He hasn't been doing much to hide the tear streaks.]

Thank you. I...I wanted Sakura to take care of my Pokemon. But...if she doesn't want to anymore, could you do it?

[oh... he sniffles, but his expression seems to lighten a bit]

Y... Yeah. [what good would he be at keeping an animal? he's not responsible, or reliable! his family thinks he's a mess. he shouldn't have a pet.

Pokemon are...mostly omnivorous. Gerard likes fish the most, though, or pizza. [Or pizza with fish, as can be seen from the meeting with Robert.] Hydrangea just needs sunlight most of the time, but they also enjoy sweets. And they'll both enjoy those berries from the flower shop.

[Osomatsu is making mental notes, notes that he'll go back and write down, probably. this is important!]

Okay. I promise, I'll make sure they get exercise, too.

[A nod.] Again...thank you.

[he nods, too... Osomatsu still feels anger, hurt, betrayal. but he's managing to remain pretty composed. even though what Franciscus did was terrible, even though he lied about who he was, he's still Osomatsu's friend. maybe that's just naivety.

Osomatsu takes a few steps back, then leaves without another word. he needs to calm down, to think about what he needs to do.
