Killers and victims, killers and victims. Three of your own have fallen prey to murderous intent last week. Your numbers keep shrinking. Azura has fallen prey to Franciscus in the same night that Olympia betrayed her friend Millium and killed Cian who wound up in the crossfire. At this rate, is there anyone you can trust?
The townspeople's anger burns hotter than ever. Wherever they go, must they live in fear of stumbling on a corpse? They can't live like this. More than ever, the visitors are being shown that they are
unwelcome.
Walking outdoors, cold looks are the norm. Shouted profanity isn't unexpected. Barely anybody is willing to still hold a conversation with any visitors.
Even within the motel, there is no feeling of safety any longer. Not only have two people died in this very place, no, now the townspeople also lost their fear of coming inside. While they don't enter private rooms, the daring among them vent their hatred of you by vandalizing the common rooms.
Cartesio has become a menacing place.
In the lobby of the motel there's a few more brochures, and
the maps have been updated once again. Don't mind that some of them have been damaged in one of the attacks on the motel.

...Do you know how to take care of plants? I'm pretty sure I'd get rotten fruit tossed at me if I ask one of the workers at the actual store.
[Later on in the day, she can be found in her room. The door is open, and the sound of music is coming out of the area. She has one of the CD players plugged in, and anyone who approaches will be able to tell it's classical music, unsurprisingly. She's laying on her bed, reading a book from the library, but she doesn't seem too adverse to company.
As the day winds to a close, she's giving another glance to the guestbook as part of her ongoing attempt to find some connection between the group as a whole. This time, though, she pauses when she gets to hers, frowning.]
...Holy shit, I completely forgot.
[It's not immediately clear what she's referring to, but the very observant might notice that her listed age has changed from sixteen to seventeen.]

You mostly need to make sure they get enough water, light and warmth, but you can't give it too much water or else they can die because of that, too.
[ because of course the one who is named after a flower knows how to take care of plants ]

So... How much is enough of each?

There's a lot of other factors-- like making sure the water temperature is just right and making sure to keep on checking the soil so you know when to water the plant.

You know a lot about this kind of stuff, huh?

Ah. From the record store?
no subject
Yeah. Pretty decent place.

Did you know any of it, at least?

They had some classical music there that I recognized. It's... nice.
[It feels familiar to her in a way most things don't.]

I'm a classical pianist, so this is kind of my wheelhouse.

[Kino had noticed it, but never really ventured close when Natalie was playing.]
no subject
Yeah. I... can't really say I'm happy to have got it from him, but I'm happy to have it anyways. If that makes sense.

[Kino's honestly kind of envious, really.]
no subject
...I definitely missed it. I think it's like, um, you and travel.
[The most important things to them, that is.]

If you ever feel like it, would it be okay for me to listen sometime?
no subject
Yeah. Any time you want.

[Because there's nothing else to heckin do.]
