Week 6: May 6th - 10th

Sixth Week

Killers and victims, killers and victims. Three of your own have fallen prey to murderous intent last week. Your numbers keep shrinking. Azura has fallen prey to Franciscus in the same night that Olympia betrayed her friend Millium and killed Cian who wound up in the crossfire. At this rate, is there anyone you can trust?

The townspeople's anger burns hotter than ever. Wherever they go, must they live in fear of stumbling on a corpse? They can't live like this. More than ever, the visitors are being shown that they are unwelcome.

Walking outdoors, cold looks are the norm. Shouted profanity isn't unexpected. Barely anybody is willing to still hold a conversation with any visitors.

Even within the motel, there is no feeling of safety any longer. Not only have two people died in this very place, no, now the townspeople also lost their fear of coming inside. While they don't enter private rooms, the daring among them vent their hatred of you by vandalizing the common rooms.

Cartesio has become a menacing place.

In the lobby of the motel there's a few more brochures, and the maps have been updated once again. Don't mind that some of them have been damaged in one of the attacks on the motel.

[ By now he's used to running into Sting at random locations. He tilts his head with a slight grin. ]

Dunno, aren't Wednesday's usually vandalism night? [ Vandalism date night clearly, you got him. ]

Are you saying you can't do both? [ Some light to medium vandalism in the evening followed by returning to the motel and cuddling while watching horror movies. This actually sounds like a respectable date to him minus the vandalism.

Like, maybe pranks? Replace pranks with vandalism and he's all in. ]

Last week's was enough excitement for one night. Who knows what he's got planned for us in a few hours. [ Arson makes him sleepy, ok. More like a content cat after a successful hunt than actually tired, but details, details.

Clearly Dabi needs to ask Sting out to show him a proper date night. ]

Nothin' good. [ He frowns when he says this. For now, there's not a lot he can do about it though, so he moves on and leans on whatever's around. As long as that thing isn't Dabi, he doesn't lean on Dabi, ok.

Clearly. Hawks will benefit from this great sacrifice! ]

Still, a movie night doesn't sound bad. If you do have one, you should invite me over.

[ Not leaning on Dabi will pay off apparently. A few seconds of silence pass (which may be awkward with that offer hanging in the air), where Dabi looks from Sting and then back to the collection of horror movies. Finally, he speaks up. ]

Pick something.

Awesome! [ Wow, he's getting an invite!! And immediately??? He was thinking more in the future but immediately is good too. Don't mind him as he starts sorting through the bin with nimble fingers. ]

So what's your poison? [ He could go for something light himself but horror is okay. Flip, flip, flip. Pause. There's fire on this ones cover!! He holds it up, look, how's this! ]

Later tonight, got stuff to do first. 8PM works. [ And Dabi is actually punctual when it comes to meeting times, so you better not be late Sting! He looks with mild interest as Sting flips through the movies. ]

Not something too long, doubt the Sarge will give us the night off. [ That movie, huh? Well it has fire on the cover so... ]

Guess you know my taste.

"Stuff to do"? Are you planning on getting snacks or something...? [ Raising an eyebrow at that. Like, what do you have to do??? He's pretty interested, more than he is at sorting through the movies again.

Since this has fire it's Good Enough. Also, yeah, uh. Sarge probably won't, which earns a frown but nothing else. For now. ] Hey, I can't take all the credit for this. You were the one in the horror section, my chances of picking something you'd like weren't bad.

...sure. [ That's not what he had planned, but he can grab something at the gas station probably. This is far as his hosting skills go, so don't expect much. ]

I could've been looking at 'em even if I hated them, y'know.
