Week 6: May 6th - 10th

Sixth Week

Killers and victims, killers and victims. Three of your own have fallen prey to murderous intent last week. Your numbers keep shrinking. Azura has fallen prey to Franciscus in the same night that Olympia betrayed her friend Millium and killed Cian who wound up in the crossfire. At this rate, is there anyone you can trust?

The townspeople's anger burns hotter than ever. Wherever they go, must they live in fear of stumbling on a corpse? They can't live like this. More than ever, the visitors are being shown that they are unwelcome.

Walking outdoors, cold looks are the norm. Shouted profanity isn't unexpected. Barely anybody is willing to still hold a conversation with any visitors.

Even within the motel, there is no feeling of safety any longer. Not only have two people died in this very place, no, now the townspeople also lost their fear of coming inside. While they don't enter private rooms, the daring among them vent their hatred of you by vandalizing the common rooms.

Cartesio has become a menacing place.

In the lobby of the motel there's a few more brochures, and the maps have been updated once again. Don't mind that some of them have been damaged in one of the attacks on the motel.

My- my shift... Sh-shit, I s-said... I'd call Ma, sh- she's must buh-buh-be... [ And he tries to push up on the edge of the box, to get out, but almost face-plants into that instead, when he misjudges the distance and his hand hits empty air. ] Shit!

[streetwolf]

Woah- [Just grabbing him, hands on shoulders and slowly lowering him.]

Just lie down till this wears off before you knock yourself out.

[ A moment's quiet. ]

Y- th-they're gon' kill me. I-I'm gonna die, aren' I?

[streetwolf]

[Oh he's coming to? It's probably best to be frank then.]

They're not. But someone wants to make it look like that. It's probably best if you stay quiet and out the way, cause things are going to shit.

[cartesio]

[ Not quite coming to. He still looks very out of it, but...well, let's call it a moment of clarity. Between Dazai and Keith, he's sort of terrified. ]

Wh- why... Why c-can't y'just let me go...?

Well you see...We're kinda stuck in here and I'm pretty sure we're all dead if we don't think of a way out of this.

But I... Pl- please... I-I don' have a-anything t'do with this...

[streetwolf]

Neither do we. Just woke up with a note saying to come here. Then that lot showed up with pitchforks.

[cartesio]

Y-you're all- you're k-keepin' me here! D- did y-you kidn-nap me?!

[streetwolf]

Do you really want to walk at a load of people throwing rocks around?

[cartesio]

Th- they're m-my friends out there!

[streetwolf]

They're still throwing shit without looking.

[cartesio]

'Cause you...you people ke- keep...

[ He's tired and not good at arguing right now, but he doesn't look swayed. ]

[streetwolf]

We still got told to come here and found you. Like I said before, this isn't by choice.

[He shrugs, but it's not like this is going to help is it. He's not charismatic enough to talk the guy over. Like the girls always said, he's too anti-social.]
