Week 6: May 6th - 10th

Sixth Week

Killers and victims, killers and victims. Three of your own have fallen prey to murderous intent last week. Your numbers keep shrinking. Azura has fallen prey to Franciscus in the same night that Olympia betrayed her friend Millium and killed Cian who wound up in the crossfire. At this rate, is there anyone you can trust?

The townspeople's anger burns hotter than ever. Wherever they go, must they live in fear of stumbling on a corpse? They can't live like this. More than ever, the visitors are being shown that they are unwelcome.

Walking outdoors, cold looks are the norm. Shouted profanity isn't unexpected. Barely anybody is willing to still hold a conversation with any visitors.

Even within the motel, there is no feeling of safety any longer. Not only have two people died in this very place, no, now the townspeople also lost their fear of coming inside. While they don't enter private rooms, the daring among them vent their hatred of you by vandalizing the common rooms.

Cartesio has become a menacing place.

In the lobby of the motel there's a few more brochures, and the maps have been updated once again. Don't mind that some of them have been damaged in one of the attacks on the motel.

[Not by the doors. If anything's going to happen, it doesn't seem like it'll be by the doors.

Those in the windows are trying their hardest, too. That only leaves one side of the mausoleum: the back]

Guys! We need to give him back! Otherwise they're gonna kill us!

[ mmmmm there's a bit of a squeak at the idea of potentially dying ]

Can't we just leave him in here and run?

I'm afraid it's a lot more unsafe out there than it is in here right now.

I'm worried about something happening to any of us, not just me!

What I meant is 'you' in the general, plural form. I've agreed to help you all and I'm going to do just that.

As long as we work together, we will get through this. Trust me.

Can we work together somewhere that isn't an enclosed space an angry mob is trying to break into?

Not at this moment, no. We have the means to protect this. Remember... I told you strategy is my strong point. If it was not possible to come out of this successfully, I would have told you so.

I... guess? I just don't think we should stay here!

They haven't started shooting yet but the guy from the hunting shops out there...

Kino. Get the left, I'll get the right. Taking out the two in the front should be more than enough.

[And she will do so, revolver out and ready. This is the girl who's hit bullseyes on targets while on a motorcycle before--

[Dazai's done this sort of thing hundreds of times, and worse. He's going to time himself with Kino to take them both out at once.]

[Moving out of the way -- go, go, go!]

[Slamming the lid of the coffin onto the door is actually rather effective. It's a rather heavy lid, on a door that was already heavy. Some of the townspeople are futilely trying, but others seem to have realized it's pointless.]

[Finally he is free of the door!
