Killers and victims, killers and victims. Three of your own have fallen prey to murderous intent last week. Your numbers keep shrinking. Azura has fallen prey to Franciscus in the same night that Olympia betrayed her friend Millium and killed Cian who wound up in the crossfire. At this rate, is there anyone you can trust?
The townspeople's anger burns hotter than ever. Wherever they go, must they live in fear of stumbling on a corpse? They can't live like this. More than ever, the visitors are being shown that they are
unwelcome.
Walking outdoors, cold looks are the norm. Shouted profanity isn't unexpected. Barely anybody is willing to still hold a conversation with any visitors.
Even within the motel, there is no feeling of safety any longer. Not only have two people died in this very place, no, now the townspeople also lost their fear of coming inside. While they don't enter private rooms, the daring among them vent their hatred of you by vandalizing the common rooms.
Cartesio has become a menacing place.
In the lobby of the motel there's a few more brochures, and
the maps have been updated once again. Don't mind that some of them have been damaged in one of the attacks on the motel.

[This kitchen really deserves better.
As it is however, Kino can be found cooking her signature dish partway through the day. She's making a lot - not just for herself, but others too, if they for some reason wish to partake. The dish is very... red. But less red than other attempts? It seems she's skimping on the peppers this time around, which means it's just abhorrently hot instead of fatally so.
She looks over the finished concoction with a critical eye. Hmm...]
Is this good enough?
[No.]
[Nine's Room]
[Later in the day, Kino slips into the former room of one Nine. Taking up a hunting knife, she begins to carve deeply into the wall wherever there's space:
Sarge's plan might involve dead townspeople + tourists
She also adds deep stab marks to each angle in the letters. Maybe if there's issues with this "damage transfer," they can play connect the dots? Who even knows how this works.
Feel free to catch her on her way out, the now-folded knife sliding back into one of the pouches on her belt.]

I've never had that before, but is it supposed to be that color?

He did seem to dislike the ghost peppers from the first time I made it here.

After the Sergeant's reaction, I don't think I ever want to try it.
[And yet she continues to subject him to her cooking.]

Kinoyackie...?
[He'll come closer and peer over her shoulder. Skepticism rising.]
What's it supposed to be?
[Other than RED ofc.]

[There is a distinct lack of mention of how much is used.]

How much seasoning did you put in it that it's that shade of red?

[Instead of. Just as much as.]

[Hey Keith remember when you interrogated Kino over using a recipe.]
