Week 6: May 6th - 10th

Sixth Week

Killers and victims, killers and victims. Three of your own have fallen prey to murderous intent last week. Your numbers keep shrinking. Azura has fallen prey to Franciscus in the same night that Olympia betrayed her friend Millium and killed Cian who wound up in the crossfire. At this rate, is there anyone you can trust?

The townspeople's anger burns hotter than ever. Wherever they go, must they live in fear of stumbling on a corpse? They can't live like this. More than ever, the visitors are being shown that they are unwelcome.

Walking outdoors, cold looks are the norm. Shouted profanity isn't unexpected. Barely anybody is willing to still hold a conversation with any visitors.

Even within the motel, there is no feeling of safety any longer. Not only have two people died in this very place, no, now the townspeople also lost their fear of coming inside. While they don't enter private rooms, the daring among them vent their hatred of you by vandalizing the common rooms.

Cartesio has become a menacing place.

In the lobby of the motel there's a few more brochures, and the maps have been updated once again. Don't mind that some of them have been damaged in one of the attacks on the motel.

Two? But... There were more than two people we were talking to.

[clearities]

Maybe I just can't sense the presences of those who don't have magic, but... I still think it's weird that I didn't feel anything spiritual this time.

[robitussin]

[She shakes her head.]

They said it was Franciscus, Millium, Nine, and Bakugou. Even if you don't count Millium's weird mental link with her puppet, at least three of them have abilities that seem pretty magical to me.

[clearities]

Then maybe they weren't the ones using magic to communicate with us...? I could be wrong, though. I mean, there were two objects, so two sources makes sense, I guess. [ That's just a theory, though. ] I'm still confused about the two people from my group that are there with them. They weren't supposed to be dead.

[robitussin]

[After a moment passes:]

I kind of hate to ask, but... Do you know for sure that it's just two?

[clearities]

When I asked who was there from my group, the answers were Nagisa-san and Will-san. And I've been checking the new locations every week to make sure that I know where everyone is, too. You already know about Rean-san, but... sensei-- um, the one you guys know as Waver Velvet-san is the one in the library. I also saw Alfin-chan at the flower shop. Axel-san is working with the firemen, and I think Gant-san showed us the scorecards... um, Peralta-san and Takashi-san were the other names on that list. Luthier-san was at the bakery. Also Steel-san was one of the people that was walking with the Sergeant-san. And Kino-san mentioned Faba-san having grown flowers in the flower shop and Serph-san in hanging around in the junkyard... So the only ones that haven't been seen yet are Ayuzawa-san, Seiji-san... and, um, the two I mentioned earlier, Nagisa-san and Will-san. Maybe I should have asked if Mira-san and Lovepon-san was with them, though, if Nagisa-san and Will-san are there.
