Week 6 - May 11th

Week 6: Investigation
At around 2 in the morning, a steady rain of hail started to cover the town of Cartesio. The night continued, however, with the motel unbothered, aside from the plink-plink on the roof and windows.
This morning, you'll find the weather's started to let up, though the streets are still blanketed by hail. Mercifully, that's all that's outside the motel this morning. No corpses, no robot remains. That alone should make you feel better, right?
But no. It seems...the town's very alert this morning. There's a strange energy in the air, not just from the Sergeant's horrible threat. Something's off in Cartesio, and you probably recognize that feeling. This has happened four times before, after all.
Investigate?

But bruises, got it. Are all the bruises consistent with him being pinned under the bookcase or are there are few stray bruises that look like something else caused them?]

Other than that, you can't tell just what caused it. ]

So assuming that's all there is to talk about with the bruises, he'll look at these burns next. Anything to note about their distribution and severity?]
no subject
As for the burns, they appear to be all over his body. They're quite severe. If Keith has any experience with burns, he'll be able to tell, they are third-degree. ]

Dad was a firefighter, so he can probably... stage burn wounds pretty well, yep. Is there any place that's... less charred? Like his back or something? Keith will be turning Dazai over to check.]

Keith will also probably know enough to be aware that, at the very least, it wasn't the fire that killed Dazai but the lack of air, as the fire would've choked out all the oxygen in the area.
Better, or worse to know? ]
no subject
Okay, so anything else on poor Dazai's back?]

One last question! If he turns to the firefighters to ask around what time the sprinklers went off, would they tell him? Trying to work out a rough time of death here.]
no subject
The best estimate Keith can get is between 2:30 and 3:30 in the morning. ]
