Seven days have passed. Quite peaceful days, almost too peaceful. The town has welcomed you, excited to see tourists for the first time in many, many,
many years. Some may have liked the peace, others may have been annoyed by it, but it was undeniable Cartesio seemed like such a nice and safe place it was hard to believe you had been told to kill each other.
But the threat is still up in the air. What's more: how much patience does the Sergeant have left?
Every time you take a look into the Lodge, you see the Sergeant. Lately he's looking more and more annoyed. Even though you can't see his face, you can feel he's getting frustrated. How long will it be before he lashes out and does something about these peaceful days?
Nobody in the town could suspect the harrowing times that'd befall Cartesio.
When you wake up on Sunday, you'll find
new maps in the map rack and brochures on the table, showing places you hadn't noticed in the town before. Enjoy!

There is a Distinction here.
He shoves his hand into the firetruck and tries to make some sense of it (and probably pulls some wires and small bits out of place), fails to do so, and shuts the hood. If there's nothing to see there, then hmm... Maybe somewhere else? These things usually have some kinda compartment, right? Will he find anything if he circles around the truck like a confused vulture? ]

From this position you can hear something from the wall near this side of the truck. Check that?]

Let's check it out! His hearing is good but, whatever. He's gonna get closer anyway. ]

Not too far from the garage entrance, there's a door that leads deeper into the fire station]

Ahem. Sure, let's try the hallway first to find the source of the noise. ]

Once you get into the hallway you stop hearing the pacing, but nobody comes out to the hallway. Luckily, the fire station isn't that complicated to navigate. There's only one door that can lead towards your objective -- a door that's ajar.
If you peek through the door, you'll see...! It's part of a screen depicting a crosswalk. Hm! But you can't see the entire image from the hallway. Curse these firemen, not leaving the doors ajar enough]

Moving onto the stingy firemen, this time it does warrant extreme measures. Opening doors by gently pushing them isn't dramatic enough for this guild master, oh no. Not when he has the option of trying to kick it open. Which he tries now. ] Hope you're ready, 'cause I'm comin' in!

As soon as Sting gets the first couple words out, he'll hear the sound of a big chair falling to the floor -- like someone stood up, alarmed. Right when he tries to open the door, a tall man blocks the door with his body. A voice you don't recognize shouts]
Knock that off!
[You can't see the man's face -- or most of his body, through the ajar door all you can see is a gloved hand and part of his body. That's a fireman uniform!]

Okay, but the fact that somebody scrambled to get up and stop him means he should probably try to get in there. By any means necessary, including slamming himself against the door or, later, trying to break down walls. This door won't know what hit it! ] Oh hell no! If you didn't have something to hide, you wouldn't be tryin' to keep me out like this!
[ Hey, he has gloves too! Which honestly is neither here nor there, but, glove friends. Now open up, glove fire friend! ]

I hope you were standing far away enough from the door, Sting, because suddenly there's a loud crack, and the tip of two very shiny metallic cones sprout from the wood of the door, separate one from the other. It's just the tip -- no more than a millimeter, but whatever it is, it must be really strong and long enough to pierce through the thick wooden door like that. Well, more like two of whatever they are]

Here's a question, can he still see fire friend's hand? ]

Looks like you won't be getting through this door this time.

He's just gonna sit around here for a while but that's okay, his blatant camping isn't important for now. 'cause, really, he'll get hungry eventually and leave. ]
