WEEK 2: April 8th - April 12th

Second Week

Seven days have passed. Quite peaceful days, almost too peaceful. The town has welcomed you, excited to see tourists for the first time in many, many, many years. Some may have liked the peace, others may have been annoyed by it, but it was undeniable Cartesio seemed like such a nice and safe place it was hard to believe you had been told to kill each other.

But the threat is still up in the air. What's more: how much patience does the Sergeant have left?

Every time you take a look into the Lodge, you see the Sergeant. Lately he's looking more and more annoyed. Even though you can't see his face, you can feel he's getting frustrated. How long will it be before he lashes out and does something about these peaceful days?

Nobody in the town could suspect the harrowing times that'd befall Cartesio.

When you wake up on Sunday, you'll find new maps in the map rack and brochures on the table, showing places you hadn't noticed in the town before. Enjoy!

[The motel is the place chosen to take the sign to. Of course, the Sergeant is awaiting there.

As soon as everyone enters, the Sergeant rises from behind the reception desk with the guestbook -- as if that was a dramatic entrance -- and claps. He sounds genuinely happy]

Well done! I must say, you performed better than expected. Damage of property, littering, you even weakened a ceiling. [He gestures to the desk, so the sign is left there. When he notices the broken part of the sign, he sighs] Okay, nothing is perfect, I guess. But it's here and that's what's important.

[He walks to the door, taking the neon sign with him]

All of you will receive the reward you deserve. Don't complain if it's not to your liking -- not that it matters. I'm confident it will be something you like.

[With a wave, he walks in direction of the Lodge, satisfied. You have completed the first of his tasks.

You have done well]

[Calling after him:]

Gimme Lammy back and I promise I'll do better next time...!

[An attempt was made, and therefore, no one can criticize her.]

[ someone stop bolin before he shoots a rock at the back of his head ]

[ THE TIME WILL COME

[Kino sighs softly, scratching at the back of the head.]

...Besides murder, property damage is one of their worst crimes here.

[Oh well, mission accomplished.]

[Someone else is calling after him as well.]

The only thing I want from you is a stupid piano!

[Why is that the exception? A mystery.]

Yeah! Give 'er a piano! [helpful]

[She glances back his way, and it's not hard to see the honest shock in her expression once she realizes that he's sticking up for her.

After a pause, she gives him a nod that's grateful, even if she doesn't speak.]

[clearities]

[ Flatly: ] I'm having a talk with Sergeant-san tomorrow about all of this. [ Amongst. Other things, maybe. But she's definitely going to have a long, nice chat. ]

[Olympia stares at his back as he walks away.]

Why did he want the sign...?

Maybe he has some shitty taste in decorating?

Maybe. Or it has some special meaning.
