Seven days have passed. Quite peaceful days, almost too peaceful. The town has welcomed you, excited to see tourists for the first time in many, many,
many years. Some may have liked the peace, others may have been annoyed by it, but it was undeniable Cartesio seemed like such a nice and safe place it was hard to believe you had been told to kill each other.
But the threat is still up in the air. What's more: how much patience does the Sergeant have left?
Every time you take a look into the Lodge, you see the Sergeant. Lately he's looking more and more annoyed. Even though you can't see his face, you can feel he's getting frustrated. How long will it be before he lashes out and does something about these peaceful days?
Nobody in the town could suspect the harrowing times that'd befall Cartesio.
When you wake up on Sunday, you'll find
new maps in the map rack and brochures on the table, showing places you hadn't noticed in the town before. Enjoy!

EVENT
By now maybe you’re used to finding yourself in a place you don't know, but that's no reason for alarm! Or most likely it is, because it’s freaking creepy. This time the place is easily identifiable, just by taking a look around: it’s a cinema room. There’s even a bucket of fresh popcorn on your lap. Were you watching a movie and fell asleep? Hardly, because this place wasn’t even available to you before. Around you there are a few other people. Not everyone who’s trapped in the town with you, but enough for you to know this isn’t a mere coincidence.
The screen is showing static, the projector up there behind the window on the wall may not be working properly. You may want to take a look at that room. If you try any door that doesn’t lead to the projection room, you’ll find them locked from the other side]

[ He's jumping up and spilling the popcorn all over the floor. Whoops. ]
How did I even get here?
[ He...doesn't remember going here. He knows he's been lost and also has forgot to keep track of where he was... but nothing like this. ]
no subject
Other things like calmly standing up and turning to look at the projector room window. The revolver is still holstered to the side, and the pistol to the back, grip facing upwards.]
no subject
The projector room window above you is wide open, nothing's blocking it. It doesn't seem like there's anyone up there -- or at least nobody's approaching the window. Everything is silent, except for the noise of the static]

Don't shoot the projector.

Welp. Least Sarge gave us popcorn this time?
[She stands up a little more carefully, taking a handful of popcorn and shoveling it into her mouth as she cradles the bucket in her other arm and makes her way over to Nine.]
Prolly weird Sarge stuff. Hiya, Nine.
no subject
[ If so, he might have to go yell at him. Wiping the buttery stuff on to his pants as he walks over to her. ]
Come on, let's figure out what the hell is happening.

[ Sarge, why this. Why put them together? Wiping the butter off on his pants and then heading to the screen to investigate. ]

EVENT END
As soon as everyone enters, the Sergeant rises from behind the reception desk with the guestbook -- as if that was a dramatic entrance -- and claps. He sounds genuinely happy]
Well done! I must say, you performed better than expected. Damage of property, littering, you even weakened a ceiling. [He gestures to the desk, so the sign is left there. When he notices the broken part of the sign, he sighs] Okay, nothing is perfect, I guess. But it's here and that's what's important.
[He walks to the door, taking the neon sign with him]
All of you will receive the reward you deserve. Don't complain if it's not to your liking -- not that it matters. I'm confident it will be something you like.
[With a wave, he walks in direction of the Lodge, satisfied. You have completed the first of his tasks.
You have done well]

Other things, maybe. But she's definitely going to have a long, nice chat. ]
