Seven days have passed. Quite peaceful days, almost too peaceful. The town has welcomed you, excited to see tourists for the first time in many, many,
many years. Some may have liked the peace, others may have been annoyed by it, but it was undeniable Cartesio seemed like such a nice and safe place it was hard to believe you had been told to kill each other.
But the threat is still up in the air. What's more: how much patience does the Sergeant have left?
Every time you take a look into the Lodge, you see the Sergeant. Lately he's looking more and more annoyed. Even though you can't see his face, you can feel he's getting frustrated. How long will it be before he lashes out and does something about these peaceful days?
Nobody in the town could suspect the harrowing times that'd befall Cartesio.
When you wake up on Sunday, you'll find
new maps in the map rack and brochures on the table, showing places you hadn't noticed in the town before. Enjoy!

I'm no good at that kind of stuff, puzzles, I mean. Honestly, when the Sergeant said we'd be doin' stuff for him, I thought he meant... like... [a gesture] Moving things, heavy-lifting, cleaning up the town. It really caught me off-guard!

That's okay. [they might find out more later, depending on what happens. he'll just veer the subject elsewhere] You interested in food, at all?

Then it will be done!
[a waiter comes by to take their order. they are polite as Osomatsu orders a few things, french fries, chicken tenders, calamari... but they are distant, only there to give a curt reply before bustling off again. it's a difference from when the townsfolk wanted to chat with them]
Geez, it's like we're public enemy number one.

[ Her expression drops a little bit and she seems to look a little down because of it. But she tries her best to smile. ]
It's kind of sad, isn't it-- but we shouldn't let that get us down! Let's eat!

Can you tell me a little more about this... magic stuff, you do?

[ She doesn't mind, but it's definitely surprising... ]
Well, I normally have a staff and cards... ah-- I actually found one in my room today!
[ And she takes out the card that she received from her pocket, revealing it to him. ]
I can't use it without my staff, though.

[ That actually gives her an idea. ]
Do you think that if I could get my staff back... I could show the police what happened? I don't know how they'd feel about magic, though.

I dunno, either. But it'd be worth a shot.
