Third Week

The peaceful times are over. Moloch von Zinzer was murdered, and Nine was sentenced as his murderer. Everyone in Cartesio knows that.

Although life goes on, it seems the town of Cartesio isn't going to forget the tourists' transgressions. Not only they commited larceny in the cinema, they also murdered and executed in their town! It's no surprise their hospitality towards the visitors has cooled down considerably.

Not only they're maintaining a tense cordiality with them, they also have started talking behind the visitors' backs. All kinds of rumors are starting to sprout, yet nobody seems to be willing to say it to the tourists' faces. Talking directly to most passerby makes them distrustful, and nobody seems to want to be in close quarters alone with them.

It's only matter of time before the relationship between tourists and Cartesio starts degrading even further.

In the lobby of the motel there's a few more brochures, and the maps have been updated once again.

[You guys sure wish records are meant to be seen by random people, haha. First Keith commits breaking and entering into the police station, and then Katsuki breaks the statue of Jesus that had the obituaries. Now Keith is back into the fray. Let's hope it won't involve crimes!

The clinic isn't that large, but it seems an unnamed NPC receives Keith in the way to the administrative offices]

[In other words, Katsuki + Keet dream team? rip cartesio whenever that one happens....

But okay he was prepared with a better cover story this time!!]

I'm looking for the bathroom.

You're not going to find it over there. Funny how you're looking for the bathroom in the places where files are stored.

[Judging by the look this person gives you, Keith, they're very aware you were arrested not too long ago]

Ever thought of simply asking? You guys really need to learn how to ask for things instead of breaking and causing disturbances.

[Okay now he's frowning.]

[Sure, they're not wrong about his intentions here, but that's a whole lot of self righteousness about their group as a whole. He probably shouldn't be arguing this, but the implications of what they've learned last night have put him in a mood that isn't making him feel too personable.]

Watch your mouth, kid. [This person looks like they'd want nothing better than to kick him out, but...hm. Maybe to get rid of him, they'll have to agree to help. Sigh] Okay, tell me what you want and I'll get it for you.

[That's excellent advice that he should probably take, but won't in the grander scheme of things. But if they're going to be helpful, then he will stop for now.]

I'm looking for some birth records.

[Who the heck even knows, at this point, if any of the se people are really from they say they're from.]

Birth records?

[Their first thought is ask why Keith would want such a thing, but they feel Keith won't want to answer]

Whose birth record?

[Perhaps the receptionist should simply ask instead of making assumptions (probably correct ones) about Keith's disposition and level of cooperativity -- hmph!

But in all seriousness, since Keith has seen the notebook of obituaries that Katsuki has found, he's going to name one of those names. An older one, sinply so there aren't any accusations of invasion of privacy lodged at him. He doesn't actually feel much like arguing.]
