WEEK 3: April 15th - April 19th

Third Week

The peaceful times are over. Moloch von Zinzer was murdered, and Nine was sentenced as his murderer. Everyone in Cartesio knows that.

Although life goes on, it seems the town of Cartesio isn't going to forget the tourists' transgressions. Not only they commited larceny in the cinema, they also murdered and executed in their town! It's no surprise their hospitality towards the visitors has cooled down considerably.

Not only they're maintaining a tense cordiality with them, they also have started talking behind the visitors' backs. All kinds of rumors are starting to sprout, yet nobody seems to be willing to say it to the tourists' faces. Talking directly to most passerby makes them distrustful, and nobody seems to want to be in close quarters alone with them.

It's only matter of time before the relationship between tourists and Cartesio starts degrading even further.

In the lobby of the motel there's a few more brochures, and the maps have been updated once again.

[Keith's lack of armor doesn't go unnoticed, and chasing down teens is kind of Jughead's thing, so here he comes sidling up to the guy as he tries to be stealthy.]

That thing get too sweaty for you, Keith?

[adshjlk;; Jughead's getting shushed immediately. Low whispers only, buddy.]

I'm trying to figure out where their school is and get inside to use a computer. Armor stands out too much.

[Not going to answer whether the armor was gross or not!!]

But the grossness was part of it, right?

[He's not letting that go but at least he's doing it in significantly more hushed tones now.]

High-school infiltration. Solid plan. Great past-time. I'm in.

[Ignoring that in favor of peering around the corner to check where these Cartesio teens are heading.They're still stuck on a red light for the next street crossing it seems. Turning back to Jughead:]

I don't recall saying this was a party.

[Sounding more surprised than annoyed. Part of him is maybe a little amused.]

You don't investigate alone.

[Spoken, in a matter-of-fact way, as he reaches out and gives Keith a lone clap on the shoulder. You can just feel his go get 'em attitude in it.]

I'll be your backup.

[marmoron]

[Keith's going to eye that hand on his shoulder for a moment, but not make any comment on that. Physical contact's always just a little awkward for him.]

Alright. You can handle the talking if anyone asks questions.

[You know. Just in case. Doing another check and-- they're off crossing the street and making a left onto the next bit of sidewalk.]

Let's move.

[It’s awkward for Jughead too. The point is that everyone’s uncomfortable here.]

[This is a terrible idea and he’s living for it, in all honesty. He follows Keith in as much of an inconspicuous manner as he can, which is admittedly not much.]
