The peaceful times are over. Moloch von Zinzer was murdered, and Nine was sentenced as his murderer. Everyone in Cartesio knows that.
Although life goes on, it seems the town of Cartesio isn't going to forget the tourists' transgressions. Not only they commited larceny in the cinema, they also murdered and executed in their town! It's no surprise their hospitality towards the visitors has cooled down considerably.
Not only they're maintaining a tense cordiality with them, they also have started talking behind the visitors' backs. All kinds of rumors are starting to sprout, yet nobody seems to be willing to say it to the tourists' faces. Talking directly to most passerby makes them distrustful, and nobody seems to want to be in close quarters alone with them.
It's only matter of time before the relationship between tourists and Cartesio starts degrading even further.
In the lobby of the motel there's a few more brochures, and
the maps have been updated once again.

[She pulls the paper back, rolling it into a tube with another sigh as she kicks at the ground.]
No kidding. It's... I figured, y'know, even if I'm here, if people were worried or anything he'd be at least there to hold 'em together, y'know? And if he was okay, then everything would be okay.

[ Yep just a nice every day walk over to the park area - even if he's wrong, Bakugou seems insistent about that. It doesn't take them very long to reach the part of the park where the pond is but he only stops when they're right in front of it, and that's when he stops walking.

[They're both going to be soaked by the end of this, because Millium is charging right in after him, kicking water right back. Hopefully, Bakugou doesn't try to cause an explosion in the lake or something stupid like that, and being soaked is all that's going to happen today.
No one will see them – Bakugou's fragile masculinity and dignity are safe. But for at least a moment, this allows them to both be themselves. Not a hero-in-training or a spy, but children.]
