Just like last week, the pile of votes appear in front of the Sergeant, who counts them with practiced ease. He stands up as soon as he's done, pausing for only a moment, before making his announcement.

[she huffs out a breath that could be a laugh, maybe, if it were someone else, if it were worth laughing at. still, her voice comes so strained.]

[He'll have some time to think it over, anyway, because it's hereabouts Clarisse just...shuts down. She gives Wayne, at least, another little huff of air in acknowledgement, but no more.]
