WEEK 3 - Voting Results



Week 3: Trial


   
Just like last week, the pile of votes appear in front of the Sergeant, who counts them with practiced ease. He stands up as soon as he's done, pausing for only a moment, before making his announcement.

The results are in.

[The Sergeant's expression is hard to read, and not because of his lack of face. After a moment, he announces:]

You.. actually got it right again. Clarisse is GUILTY.

[That seems to put it in better mood. He raises a hand.]

Who wants executioner duties? I imagine several are itching to give it a try.

[Something goes funny in her expression when the results are announced, a scowl that cannot manage to become one, and she looks unsteady.]

No—no, no, no, no, no! I...!

[And all at once she just sort of...slumps, nearly falling over.

Weakly, quietly:]

I failed.

[And there's no more resistance or fire left to her at all.]
