Just like last week, the pile of votes appear in front of the Sergeant, who counts them with practiced ease. He stands up as soon as he's done, pausing for only a moment, before making his announcement.

[The Sergeant's expression is hard to read, and not because of his lack of face. After a moment, he announces:]

You.. actually got it right again. Clarisse is GUILTY.

[That seems to put it in better mood. He raises a hand.]

Who wants executioner duties? I imagine several are itching to give it a try.

[Olympia's hand shoots up immediately.]

[He actually raises a hand for this.]

[As with last week, voice that same calm and level tone:]

I can do it.

[Wayne's just going to glance around. Then slowly puts a hand up.]

[Millium raises her hand. And, shocker of shockers, she's actually not jumping up and down excitedly asking to be picked like one might expect her to be.

She's shockingly calm about this, really.

You wanted a dead body, Sarge. Let her give you one.]

I know this whole courtroom thing is complete bullshit, but I still object anyways. Just so I can make that clear.

Millium, no.

[ he will set his other hand on her shoulder. ]

Revenge won’t make this better.

[ Lookin' at the Sergeant. ]

Truce? Bakugou was our mark first. [ The one and only time he'll say his actual name. ]

[ oda will raise his hand, calm and without much emotion. ]

[Jughead is very clearly not raising his hand with them both firmly in his pockets but he is giving a what the fuck guys look to almost everyone here.]

EXECUTIONER ROLE

[So many volunteers...and only one Clarisse. It's a real pity]

I'm going to be frank for a second here: if I could give us all a chance to perform this duty, I would. I myself would have liked to do it. But rules are rules -- and the execution room isn't large enough for all of us killing her, anyway.

[He beckons everyone, while the two bailiffs the Sergeant commands and the one who is human enter to take Clarisse away. This time, anyone who pays attention to him can see his face before he leaves]

[The Sergeant actually has to think for a while before giving an answer. Minutes pass, before finally he takes his decision:]

It was hard to choose, but...Millium Orion. You're up. Meet me tonight.

[Millium's volunteering has been accepted]

[Something goes funny in her expression when the results are announced, a scowl that cannot manage to become one, and she looks unsteady.]

No—no, no, no, no, no! I...!

[And all at once she just sort of...slumps, nearly falling over.

Weakly, quietly:]

I failed.

[And there's no more resistance or fire left to her at all.]

[A pause, but:]

Was it whatever was in the envelope after all, or did you just want to go home?

[quickpersuader]

You did.

[No denying that.]

Olympia turns away from her.]

[There's a weak laugh.]

Guess you were right the other week huh?

[Seeing Clarisse like this is shocking at least and uncomfortable at most, like a switch has been flipped in her. He didn't like her at all, but this feels incredibly messed up to be witness to.

There are questions, but he's got nothing to say right now, and just looks away. He's done here.]
